“Everything about this place is amazing! Delicious, fresh, healthy food, chill atmosphere, awesome staff. I've been coming here for years since being vegan and have brought many of my non-vegan friends and family members and they love it too! The owners and staff are very sweet and personable, the food and service never disappoint! My boyfriend has celiac disease so he's extremely sensitive to gluten and very cautious to trust places without a dedicated GF kitchen, but he's never had any issue eating here and the staff always takes care of us! Extremely grateful to have this place! Cannot say enough positive words.“
“I stopped by here last week with my wife for some evening drinks. We were staying nearby and looking for a brewery whenever we came across Oyster Creek Brewing. The brewery itself is located in a strip mall and the inside was interesting. They had 16 beers on tap this day and the tables were interestingly decorated with circles talking about plume zones and ingestion zones. After guessing it had something to do with nuclear power, we looked it up and figured out that there used to be a nuclear power plant here. After that it made more sense as did some of their beer names.As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight. At oyster creek brewing a flight consists of 4 beers and so I chose the critical mass NEIPA, Sky Shine black tea and honey ale, half life cranberry hefe, and the 3-eyed fish. For my first beer I tried the Critical mass NEIPA which was a little bit sweet before the hops kick in at the finish. Second was the Sky shine black tea and honey ale which was also sweet at the start before the black tea comes in and then sweet at the finish. Third was the Half-life cranberry hefe which was smooth at the start and you could definitely taste the cranberry before a finish of sweetness. Last but certainly not least was the 3-eyed fish which started off with that tart lime flavor before moving into the dryness of a gose and finishing with, I'll be damned, the taste of Swedish fish. Out of the bunch I liked the critical mass the most but it's that 3-eyed fish which I will still be thinking about.The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While most of my beers were sweet, I did enjoy the IPA and the three eyed fish is definitely a conversation starter.“
“This is for sure my new favorite breakfast/lunch spot. The union market came highly recommended by my boyfriend's sister so we made it our business to give it a try during our most recent LBI weekend. I literally wanted to order the entire menu everything sounded so good. They also have a very extensive coffee/smoothie/drink menu as well and a bunch of baked items/coffee beans to purchase to take home. Overall, the vibe is very cool since all the art work is very electric and everything is for sale! It was peaceful in February but I'm sure it gets packed during the summer. I had the avocado toast and an oat milk latte. The hot sauce on the avocado toast was amazing! My boyfriend had the notorious PIG. The French toast croissant was incredible and the homemade strawberry jam was the real winner. We also tried a pancake and my pro tip is use that strawberry jam on the pancake. The perfect bite. Everyone was also extremely friendly to us and never once rushed us to order or eat or anything. It was great. Can't wait to come back to try some other items on the menu!“
“Last year I stopped for ice cream and was so disappointed with my order. We had been going to Jeffreeze for over 22 years. I wrote a negative review that day and heard back from the owner Dennis offering a gift card to be left for me to allow them to correct my order. I have been back several times last year and today marked my 2nd trip for 2024. I have never picked up that gift card I feel it was just a bad day for the person at the counter back last year. Today the ice cream was outstanding as usual, the service perfect.“
“This place is a MUST HAVE hidden gem that you need to experience for yourself. This particular Kohr ice cream place is so incredibly unique from the rest. Hands down, the best ice cream I've ever had in my life, and the best of all the Jersey Shore, which is a serious accomplishment as this area has a lot of great ice cream places. The Ube Macapuno is absolutely heavenly, the best ice cream flavor, and tops any of my historically classic favorites. You can taste the quality and that its freshly handmade in small batches. This is something I noticed is lacking at other competing ice cream places in the area.The owners are wonderful - so welcoming, interactive and friendly. It's family owned, entirely homemade, and they put a lot of effort into creative menu ideas as well as special events for kids. The gratitude they have for their customers is outstanding.I went here just earlier today with my brother, his wife, and their 1 year old son. My little nephew had an absolute blast, and my brother won the ice cream eating contest! It was an excellent and memorable day for our family.One last thing I thought was great about this place: They also offer sugar-free homemade ice cream, a rare find, and really awesome as we have a member of our family who is diabetic. Doesn't come with fries, they have to be ordered separately, but there is a selection to choose from like boardwalk to old bay crab fries. You order at the counter and have a seat with the number you're given. Even before I sat down, they came out with my food. Everything was tasty. Half of our party went home with milkshakes. They recommend the chocolate covered strawberry shake. Staff was great, very friendly! There is a small parking lot available on site.“

“The vibe of this casual burger (plus!) restaurant is just awesome - super islandy, laid back, refreshing & relaxed. It's always busy, but we never feel rushed. There is live music outside on the patio weekly and the absolute friendliest service. “I ordered the porkroll, egg and cheese with potatoes on a kaiser roll. I’ll have to have the rest for dinner! Porkroll cooked perfectly, the potatoes add that little something extra. “A friend and I came specifically for the peanut butter sundaes. I am definitely not an ice cream person and follow a pretty strict diet...HOWEVER, the peanut butter part caught my attention and it did not disappoint!! It is worth every last calorie. “This is a cool little diner with a chill vibe. The people working were real friendly and kept the table clear. We got 2 cups of Lobster Bisque. While not as good as the Lobster House in Cape May it was way better than Mikes in Sea Isle Only $5.99 a cup. I got a BLT. Just a classic sammie and was really good. The wife got the Long Beach Wrap and it was thick and she said it was very good. $48 w/tip. Im coming back here when I want soup and a sammie. Oh yeah...fries were real good.“
“I visited The Bagel Shack for the first time this week and the food was amazing. Probably the best bagels I have ever had. No kidding. They are that good. “Impressed with the quality of the fresh food. Everything in the deli case looked fresh! I ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich with vodka sauce and ricotta. It was really good. The bread was excellent and the cutlet was really big. The sandwich is huge. I also got some rolls and Irish soda bread to go and a cappuccino. The Irish soda bread was excellent. The rolls were soft on the inside but the outside was a bit tough. Overall, I highly recommend this spot. They have an area outside to eat there that is enclosed and heated in the colder months.“
“My husband and I had dinner here for the first time in the summer of 2023 on a weeknight inside. We decided to give it a try due to recommendation of our neighbors. I had the Lobster Grilled Cheese sandwich and Lobster Bisque Soup in a bread bowl upon recommendation of our neighbors again. Both items did not disappoint. Both items were super filling and tasty! If you order the soup in a bread bowl, be prepared to share. It becomes like an appetizer with all the soft bread in the bowl. Absolutely delicious. As for atmosphere, we chose to sit inside. Watching the ocean and the boats at sunset, gave it a perfect summerlike feel. We will be back based on our last experience this past summer.“
“What an amazing find. Went for take out before the Friday Fire Pit in Brant Beach. Our family ordered 2 “seasonal Salads” and one Asian mango salads. Wow, homemade dressing, the freshest of ingredients, and at a cost of $5. Less than anywhere on the island. We also ordered the amazing French fries and their house special grilled cheese with a slice of tomato. Yum and yum. Again at a bargain price. The staff and owner could not have been more accommodating. They could not do enough for us while we waited offering us water and a bench. Everyone was smiling, singing and so happy. We will definitely return tomorrow to try their breakfast and their dinner!“

“My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in LBI and were scouring where to eat on a quiet February night. A Yelp search led us to the Delaware Avenue oyster house. When we walked in you would have thought it was the middle of summer because this place was hoppin! Always a great sign if you ask me. We waited about ten minutes for a table. This restaurant is mostly just a large bar with a few tables near the windows. It's really cozy and has a fun vibe. Everyone was immersed in conversation and looked like they were having a great time. They have a really great menu with plenty of variety. We started with the fish tacos and the crab fried rice. As I write this I'm still dreaming of this crab fried rice....it was THAT good. The couple next to us referred to it as crack fried rice and I can totally see why. So much flavor and a nice amount of crab!! We then finished up with a pizza as true NJ residents do. It was thin and crispy and perfect. I can't wait to come back in the summer! They seem to do some nice happy hour specials so I'm looking forward to giving them a try!“

“Excellent place to eat. I've been here 8 or more times over the years on a date night and with three grown boys. Never did anyone order something they did not like. Always good service, fun and creative food for the family. Prices are very fair. My wife loves the fish/shrimp taco and I always get the pulled pork on a pretzel roll. Their catchup is great, not you standard out of the bottle kind. They leave wipes and a roll of paper towels on your table, so you can get messy and not worry. A great casual place to go out and not break the back.“
“Stopped here on the way back from LBI on a very sunny and hot Wednesday afternoon. There was a long line, staff very friendly, quick, and professional. The ice was fresh and many flavors were available. I highly recommend this place and will be back when in the area. They have a gate entrance to the lake in the back which was an added plus to the location.“

The pancakes were very good...exactly what you would want. Lastly, the breakfast sandwich was impeccable! It was so so delicious; we opted for bacon on it but honestly I think any breakfast meat they offer would have been just as good. The coffee was just okay. I didn't finish mine if that tells you anything. I got an iced almond milk latte and it was far too sweet and milky. The service was quick and nice. Although there were a lot of bugs in the area which wasn't really there fault but was making it noticeably hard to work for the few customers that were.“

Duck was enjoyed by others I was with and at a better price point (still high $48) Menu is always the same. Nothing particularly special, but all good. Service was good. I would suggest this place if the price doesn't matter or it's a very special occasion and you need a more upscale place. Otherwise, save your money. Eat with regular folks (e.g. not the Love Ladies crowd) and save your money for a really special meal that matches the price.“
