“I was looking for a place to hold a small(er) afternoon party for about 60 friends & family members, and McQ’s came highly recommended for great food, wonderful atmosphere, and top notch service. They did not disappoint. The general manager, Alexis was a pleasure to work with, and was helpful with menu choices, and whatever additional asks I had. (A table area for a display, AV hook-up for a slide presentation, and complimentary drink “coupons” for my guests. The entire staff (including the kitchen) was friendly, and determined to make this a fun (and delicious) event. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I give them 5 stars 🌟 out of 5.“

“It's a lovely place. I thought this place was getting sold last year but apparently it's not. Would love to make this my mainstay. Before I moved to this area, I lived in the Boonton area,and Johnnie's Tavern was my go to. This place is the only one that could hope to measure up to that level of atmosphere. If this place gets sold or disappears, this whole area is not going to have a locals bar. And that sucks. So it should probably not happen“

“Simply put, Charley's is the best outdoor hangout spot on/around Lake Hopatcong! Rented the Game Room Bar for a social with family and friends, and I honestly can't recommend it enough! The food was hot and delicious, awesome drinks, fantastic live music, yard games, and first-class people! The team of Amanda Lear, Amanda ODonnell Braico and Andrea were outstanding! Provided excellent professional, friendly service to make sure all of my guests were comfortable the entire evening.
