The sushi here is amazing, this restaurant has been one of my favorites for years! With the tablets, it’s so much more efficient and the staff is still interactive with the customers. Will definitely be recommending this to all of my friends.
They've really changed this place up. New lights, new paint, new touchscreen tablets, an incredibly delicious menu of assorted Japanese food, a great selection of sushi. I really like how they kept and revamped the conveyor belt sushi and the prices. It's such a great place I'll be coming here for my Japanese food.

Sadly East is permanently closed. I've called numerous times and their phone has been disconnected. Since being taken over by a group of Japanese buyers it just wasn't the same. I'm assuming the new management did not see fit to continue on with East's long tradition in Teaneck. I called East in Nanuet and they are open again in Palisades Mall, and not owned by the Japanese company. I also called their Ramen restaurant in Englewood and they said East in Teaneck has been closed...read full review
