I live a few blocks away from the Popeye's in Teaneck so I visit frequently. It's usually a great experience, but not today. I never was there on a Monday. It was Dec. 5, 2022 11:45am. The chicken strips were not hot as usual, but warmish, and some not well battered either. Smaller portion than usual and so was the macaroni and cheese side, for which there is an additional charge. This location SUCKS! In 2013 I paid around $24 for a box of spicy chicken, but when I got home with it I found that the chicken had no spicy flavor at all. I called and asked to speak with the manager, made a complaint several times with no compensation. I was told that people in the area complained about the chicken being too spicy, but not only was it not spicy it was very dark and greasy as thou it was cooked several times. It was horrible!
