I live a few blocks away from the Popeye's in Teaneck so I visit frequently. It's usually a great experience, but not today. I never was there on a Monday. It was Dec. 5, 2022 11:45am. The chicken strips were not hot as usual, but warmish, and some not well battered either. Smaller portion than usual and so was the macaroni and cheese side, for which there is an additional charge. I went to Popeyes the other day with my family, and honestly, it was way better than I expected. I got the chicken sandwich and some fries, and I ended up finishing everything even though I wasn’t that hungry when I got there. We were joking around the whole time, and it just made the food taste even better. I’d definitely go back, especially when I’m craving fried chicken.
The food was really good and came out the employees were very nice as well. The employee that served me was Yusii he got my food quick and was polite. I will be coming back this is so far the best popeyes I have ever tried.
