“As a lover of Hawaiian cuisine and a native Samoan, I am always on the lookout for authentic flavors that remind me of the islands especially in this season of harsh winter weather. Ui’i Shrimp is a delightful find that does just that. I ordered the combo, spicy shrimp and traditional Hawaiian poke, and spam musubi. Everything tasted great! The owner was very hospitable and attentive, truly in line with the spirit of Aloha. Whether you are a native of the Pacific Islands or someone who appreciates good food, Ui’i Shrimp Restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!“

“First of all, the food proportions are amazing (i got full from just eating half). The chickies and fries platter are a must try from this place. The man behind the counter recommended to drizzle some green sauce over it, and it was so savory and delicious!!! The burgers and sandwiches are also sooooo good. I also enjoyed the cajun fries and their signature sauce. It was super yummy. If there was, we weren't offered it. Also, you can't modify their specialty menu. It says so right on the menu itself. Because of this, I passed on an item. They should add ALL of their toppings to their toppers list & let their customers get creative, leading to more special creations for the business. The fried green beans should also be a side on the menu because they are perfect & the best I've had in a long time. I would go back just for those. You guys should add italian style hotdogs to your menu or a pizza dog, maybe both.

“GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. In New York entdeckte ich schon vor einiger Zeit den einen oder anderen Anbieter mit dem Versuch, einen Döner zu machen. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. Das was da verkauft wurde, heißt zwar Döner, hatte mit Döner aber recht wenig zu tun und schmeckte noch viel weniger nach einem Döner. Um so mehr dann die Erleuchtung... die Empfehlung eines Freundes in Brooklyn lebend. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. Und dort dann der erste Döner seit 2018 hier in New York. Ich kann gar nicht beschreiben, wie sehr ich mich gefreut hatte. Es sah aus wie ein Döner, es schmeckte wie ein Döner und kam schon recht nah an einen Döner aus Berlin heran. Richtig gut gemacht. Incl. Tax 12,51 Dollar ist zwar sportlich, aber für New York wiederum preiswert. Die Portion ordentlich und sättigend. Wirklich alles frisch und gut gewürzt. Das Brot genau so wie es sein muss, dünn und knusprig. “So I never really from BK because their nuggets changed in flavor and I never was a fan of their fries. I always enjoyed their whoppers though! Last 2 times I ordered from uber eats or grubhub I was disappointed in the burger that felt like there was barely any meat; made me not to order it again! I decided to order for pickup from the app and I chose to order flame broiled double whopper with no pickles and no onions with light mayo & light ketchup. I had asked the cashier what flame broiled meant and she said from the grill but it still has some oil of course. When I tell you it was the best whopper I ever had I’m not lying. “We absolutely LOVE Chick-Fil-A. They have the best chicken sandwiches and fries. We have been waiting for a location around us to open and when they did, we were very happy. This was our first time going and the service was spectacular. The person that took care of us there was Kenia. She was very polite and made sure our table was clean and that we had enough to drink. When you place the order through the app, you can scan the QR code on the table so the staff knows where to bring the food. And if you’re missing anything, you can ask someone for assistance, which we didn’t even have to do because Kenia was so attentive. Great service!
