“While in town for a long weekend get-a-way, we ate here for dinner one evening. We chose this restaurant because they had outdoor seating and were dog friendly. We brought our two boxers; Hank and Izzi with us and instantly fell in love with the staff. Everyone was so welcoming. We ordered wings and steak and cheese egg rolls. Everything was so good! Wings were cooked to perfection, extra crispy! The steak and cheese egg rolls were to die for! I literally could drive back from PA every night for these! A must if you are ever here. Staff was amazing! Our servers were top tier! I am sorry I don't remember names :( but service was impeccable!“

“I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for Steven. He’s amazing behind the bar super friendly, quick, and makes you feel welcome right away. Honestly, I’m shocked he doesn’t have more regulars because he’s the kind of bartender people come back for. Not only is he great at mixing drinks, but he’s also an excellent server attentive without being overbearing, and he really makes sure you’re taken care of. If you’re looking for a spot with both good vibes and great service, definitely come see Steven. best worker there by far ! ❤️ super proud of you“

“The atmosphere Is Beautiful and the food was amazing I got the special which was ribs with mac & cheese and they were so tender, and the mac & cheese was delicious our waiter was friendly (young man with curly hair) and it felt very homey in there on a rainy day drinks were very good too“

“I just wanted to reach out & thank your staff on duty from Friday 8/18 Especially Rod/Ron the Manager (my apologies I don't remember his name exactly) for outstanding customer service! We were at the restaurant Friday evening. It was the last night of our family Seaside Vacation and our first time dining at The Sawmill. We were seated promptly(young hostess with curly hair and an air cast), drinks & food orders were taken very quickly(female server with dark curly hair and an accent). Our beverages came out in a flash, and our appetizers were moments behind. When my teenage son reached across for some tasty pretzel bites...he knocked his full orange soda into his lap (and shirt) , onto the floor, & even onto me! We sent him to the restroom to try and clean himself up while we motioned for help, we didn't want anyone to slip on the wet floor! Within seconds your staff responded in the best possible way. Your manager was mopping up the floor, our server was bringing a replacement soda, one of the ladies bussing tables hustled over with towels. By the time my son returned from the restroom my husband and I were discussing how to proceed (Run back to the house to change or by new clothes on the boardwalk) when Rod/Ron appeared on bended knee next to my son with Sawmill t-shirts in tow asking his size so he could change his shirt. My son initially refused because; it was "all his fault & he didn't deserve it" but; Rod/Ron persisted and convinced my son that these kinds of things happen to everyone. A point I was just making to my child, when my son heard this he accepted. The way your staff responded in the moment took what could have been an awful end to our vacation into a very bright spot because of how attentive and supportive your staff was. “Went for dinner recently. There were 4 of us and the bill was $60, which is really good. Killer Mac and cheese, great meal portions! Family friendly. Would go again but also I hear that it can be loud if there is a big game. Side note- they have a cigarette machine! I thought that was cool. Also, Shuttleboard,giant Pac man, and pin ball. The bathrooms are nice too.“

“We are at the Applebee's in Lacey , NJ, frequently. We often have Kaleysha as our waitress and she is wonderful. Always sweet, checks on us often to make sure we are good and is quick with bringing stuff out to us. The food and atmosphere is always great and we have noticed the prices have stayed pretty much the same.“

“Wings were excellent, entertainment was fantastic, no cover,the band "Wallnutz" played a great variety of music, from the 50's right up to today, bartenders were excellent, general manager Stacey was accommodating and super personable, will definitely be back to chill and listen to an excellent band!!!“

The first time I’ve went to the Manchester Applebees her service was wonderful and she was such a delight, I am a pretty picky eater and make a lot of alterations to my meals and she understands and makes sure to write down everything without judgement. Absolutely fantastic waitress and environment. Food never came out wrong.“
