“The ice cream is delicious. You can tell that it's store made, and made fresh. Unlike most ice cream shops today that just buy their ice cream, you can tell the freshness in all of their ingredients.

It's especially a great place to go with the kids. They have a fenced-in area where the kids can play on the giant rocking chair or on the basketball court that they have in the fenced in patio.”

“Been a while since we went to Axton’s, but my wife and I will be celebrating 30 years this week, we thought we’d start with a fine dinner WTH Chef Anton. Early on a Sunday during the summer was far from their busy time, so we had a chance to chat. For starters, we shared an apple mango salad. Shame on me for not reading the menu. The dressing is apple mango. Home made! I was looking for mango in the salad. Apple, craisins, two kinds of cheese…. Perfect for a hot July day. My wife ordered the shrimp marinara over spinach instead of pasta. Delicious and even more impressive was that the shrimp had their tails removed. A great touch. The piece de resistance was my scallop special. Scallops topped with Crabcake coating topped with bacon. Served over a bed of spinach with cherry tomatoes and more. My wife called it spectacular. I thought it was a taste of heaven. Couldn’t figure out one taste in the sauce. Originally thought mango, but there was none in the salad. Had to ask if it was peach? Mango was the winner. The dish was a bigger winner!”

“First time stopping in. The food was great. And the price was very reasonable. The place has great atmosphere, clean & so much to choose from. Staff was super friendly. Especially Brooks, who went above & beyond helping us try decide what to order. I'm not kidding when I say everything looked so good. He kindly gave different suggestions. “This hidden gem is cozy and delicious. The servers welcome you like family, to a tucked-away, intimate dining space. Service is both smooth and friendly. The spanakopita are melt in your mouth delicious, and the varied color of the black and white sesame seeds on top offered a nice contrast and a good crunch. The hummus is fresh and creamy, while the capers and olives on top offer a wonderful zing. Served with warm, fresh pita…yum. The grilled halloumi with apricot jam and toasted walnuts is not to be missed. The zucchini chips are thinly sliced and lightly battered, and cooked to perfection. They melt in your mouth. We love to order a fresh and zesty salad, with lemon and dill and crumbled feta in great balance. They make a great side of perfectly crisp falafel to go with it. The burrata salad is also outstanding, with fresh arugula, toasted pine nuts, and a delicious balsamic glaze to finish it off. My kids love the Greek fries with feta. Don’t miss the homemade baklava ice cream, or the bougatsa, a flaky baked custard, for a tasty finish to the meal. This restaurant is such a find. They treat you to caring service and consistently excellent food. They really care about the experience they create for their patrons. This is a hidden gem.”

“New to town. Checking out falafel in the area. Came upon The falafel guy on my walk home from YMCA. A small mostly take out joint with Mousa, the master, running the show. Don’t expect the fastest service because everything is made to order. Falafel was top notch. While you’re waiting, don’t be surprised if Mousa offers you a small cup of the soup he’s cooking for the day. His lentil soup was spiced just right and delicious. Prices are reasonable as well!”
