“I read the reviews for this restaurant on Yelp and that's what got me here. Hopefully, my review will do the same for you. This restaurant is perfect for meeting up with friends to have a very nice, casual, reasonably priced, excellent meal. We had delicious hummus (as good as hummus you eat in the Middle East) as an appetizer, served with small triangles of wonderful, warm pita. For the main course, I had the special, quinoa salad with sweet potatoes, feta and other veggies - delicious! My friend, a personal chef, also ordered a special - the hummus bowl with Brussel sprouts. She enjoyed her food as much as I did and was impressed with Bella's Kitchen food presentation. We will be back.“

“What a wonderful family-owned restaurant! The food is outstanding. We have been here many times and I must say, the stuffed grape leaves were truly exceptional last night. Our server, Hakkan (who is also the most gracious host and helps keep the floor running) made great suggestions for us and was attentive to all of our needs. The owner, Yasiye, is absolutely welcoming, kind and makes you feel as if you are a member of her family. Everything we ate was wonderful, including some selections from the specials menu. And on top of it all, the decor is lovely. There was even a large group there celebrating a birthday but the room never got too loud.Vegetarian options: The menu clearly shows which options are vegetarian and even several vegan.Wheelchair accessibility: None of us use a chair but there were no steps to enter the building.“

“Best thing to happen to this food strip in AGES!Fresh ingredients and tasty recipes. The price is appropriate for the type of food you're getting, but even more so-the portion sizes and flavor are top notch. We've already stoped in multiple times so here are some of our take aways :-dolmades: honestly, the best l've ever had. And I try them EVERYWHERE. Not cheaply portions either - solid roll and you get 5 in an order. WORTH IT.-pita chips: clearly homemade and SO delicious. They're softer than the ones people are used to getting, but firm enough to really hold some hummusBowl/Wrap ingredients :BASES-med couscous: light and fluffy, not porridge-esque-warm garbanzo beans: Held their integrity during cooking so you're greeted with big pillows of seasoned goodness-farmers mix: more than just Romaine-reminiscent of a garden mix (arugula, kale, etc)SPREADS-zesty Feta: no words can do this justice. Chunky and full of love-roasted eggplant hummus: brought an almost Smokey flavor as opposed to regular hummus-Kalamata olive hummus: recommended by the young man making my dish and WOW so glad he did. I'm not a huuuuuuge olive fan and this was just a nice essence of kalamatas. I was afraid it would be too potent and take over the dish. QUITE THE OPPOSITE! Will never look back from other options!-tzatzki: mild flavor and perfect accompaniment to anything it touchesPROTEINFirst off, they offer the most GENEROUS protein portions. You 'get 2' so they let you do a full scoop of one and a full scoop of the other. Falafel is about 4 balls per serving so you can mix and match with another protein-Moroccan steak : nice sized slices/bits of spiced meat-lemon chicken: you can taste the citrus without it being overpowering. Also in nice sized pieces-chicken shawarma: insta classic ! The meat is almost buttery it's cooked so well-falafel: my personal favorite. You can taste how fresh they are ! No dryness here! Great Big Crunch surrounding a little pillow of happiness. And if you choose this as your protein, be prepared to be AMAZED at how much you get!TOPPINGSUnlike other stores of this kind, the toppings bar is unlimited!!! And that doesn't speak to the quality of the ingredients. Again, everything is so fresh and taken care of properly. Most of this part is self explanatory so I'll just touch on the parts we found interesting:-chickpea croutons: not nearly as hard as expected to be so that was a plus. The shell has a crisp but you won't worry about breaking a tooth-dolmades : if you're afraid to commit to a full order, here's your chance to try it ! You won't be disappointed-tabbouleh : such a lovely addition to the meal you just created. Adds flavor with the mint/parsley/onion heavenly goodness-cabbage: tried both the white and red at different times and both were tasty. Felt that the white took in more of the flavor around the dish while the red just added crunchDRESSINGS-any tahini option is the right answer. If you're not familiar with the taste of tahini to begin with (earthy if you will), then I would recommend a flavored one-roasted red pepper tahini: a gift from above ! There is a slight sweet yet smokey flavor that wraps everything together-garlic jalapeño tahini: not as spicy as you'd imagine so it just gives a nice lil zest to your dish-lemon & olive oil : depending on what you put in your order, this will help with overall texture. If you opted out of wet stuff (tomatoes, lettuce, etc) this is your choice !Lastly,The Earth Burger: like a big ole falafel and WOW did not disappoint. Maintained the integrity of the falafel (crispy outside, soft inside) while giving you the satisfying big bite you're looking for. Only complaint is since it is such a hearty size, maybe a size of tahini or tatziki should accompany it. But if you ask, they’ll give you a side !!Basically, this is a great asset to the area.Kind staff, smiling faces, clean sitting area and portion sizes that will have you stuffed all day!Their in house lemonade is the BEST !“

“As a world traveler, I have the best Italian dishes in Seoul, South Korea, French Casseroles, and Authentic Chinese food in Montreal, Canada. However, today, I had the best Persian food in our little town of Hasbrouck Heights. Zaffron Bloom, a family-owned restaurant, offers the best homemade Persian food I ever had over the last thirty years. The meals were prepared freshly, and the unique drink, the Pomegranate Blossom, opened my taste buds, allowing me to taste every seasoning on the Sigara Borek and Kebab Koobideh. Hasbrouck Heights offers many delicious options; however, this hidden Persian treasure has unique cuisines, drinks, and pastries worth tasting. I highly recommend going to Zaffron Bloom, and I give them 10/10—a special thanks to Chef Shahin and her family for their warm hospitality and delicious cuisine. I will return to the Zaffron Bloom and continue feeding my soul with their unique delicacies.“

“Amazing food, ambiance and service. The sampler of humus, labne-beets, babanush is unique. The trio sampler of lamb, chicken and shrimps was tender, flavoured and delicious! For that platter, a bit more sides would be better. Regarding the desert the goat milk ice cream was simply amazing!!Value for money. Highly recommended-“

“Alright! Where do i begin?! There were 4 people behind the counter and when i walked in, all four greeted me. The manager greeted at the ordering station and didnt overwhelm me to order my food as this was the first time being there. He asked me if id like any suggestions and we landed on the chicken platter with spicy chickpeas rice and cole slaw. Everything about this bowl was immaculate. The chicken was well seasoned and spiced, the chick peas were tender and savory, and the rice was such a great compliment to the protein. I also ordered their fries because why not!The portion size was generous but not overbearing. They had the mexican coke glass bottles which was a great choice to wash the food down with. I got the brown to top it all off and it was amazing. Chipotle, Qdoba, Halal Guys even have nothing on Juicy Platters. I definitely will be coming back with the family!“

“Always passed by, finally decided to try this place. Ordered online, but when I came in I had to wait for a few minutes, but while I waited the owner gave me food to try and was nice, and the inside has a nice style to it so it's very relaxing to sit. When I got my food, everything was great. The Greek fries has a nice crisp feel, and taste great plain or with the cheese and spices added to them. I had the lamb and beef gyro and the meat has to be one of the best gryo meats I have had: it's soft, juicy and chewy and tastes amazing. Will definitely return.“

“Izzy was my waiter and host- very welcoming, helpful, and professional. As great and fresh as the food was, Izzy definitely went above and beyond to make a great experience even better. The food was authentic, freshly prepared but came out in a timely fashion. Baklava was light and flaky- the vanilla ice cream accompanying it had crushed pistachios on top- really went above and beyond for the little touches that might get overlooked by some clients. Shows a real pride in their food and service.Decor was of a bistro and had ample space. I did not feel crowded by other tables or patrons.Glad I happened on this restaurant. I will definitely be back again soon.Parking: 100+Wheelchair accessibility: 1st floor access directl from parking lot which had well over 100 spaces shared between the strip mall.“

“Absolutely outstanding! I recently visited Pidde Lahmajun and was blown away by both the flavor and service. Tunç and the entire team truly know how to make a customer feel special. Every bite of the Lahmajun was a delightful journey of taste, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ambiance was welcoming, and the staff, especially Tunç and his friends, were incredibly attentive and friendly. It's rare to find a place that excels in both food quality and customer service, but Pidde Lahmajun does just that. A solid 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!“

“I been wanting to try this restaurant out and I’m glad I did!! I ordered from this restaurant through Uber Eats. Ended up getting a chicken platter, chicken shawarma and falafels. This will be my go-to for falafels!! So crisp on the outside & fluffy, moist in the inside. I had a few bites of the chicken and rice platter and I like it better than my normal halal restaurant! A little bit more pricey than other restaurants, but so good! I will definitely order from here again!!“

“Always great food and a favorite. We've been getting takeout here for years since we moved to the area during the pandemic. The red lentil soup is my favorite and the spanakopita is amazing! We've had most items on the menu, you really can't go wrong. I prefer the Chicken Shih which is grilled and marinated chicken over the Chicken Gyro but they are both good. My husband enjoys the lamb.Because the dinning room isn't open yet and the blinds often closed, I think a lot of folks don't know it's open. It's a hidden gem in Ramsey and right near the train station.“

“The skirt steak was cooked nicely to medium-rare as ordered. It was a nice tasty cut and lightly seasoned. The staff were efficient and knowledgeable. The kitchen crew that brought out the food seemed like he took great care with the food, I appreciated that. The person that served water was super nice and helpful. The only negative for me was the French fries, the fries served to me were soggy and not tasty. It might have just been an off batch. But the mains are so good that I don't even care. Overall great experience, I will be back again!“

“Excellent dining experience. I had the Turkish coffee martini, so good it could be a dessert. The tabuleh and babagannush appetizers with the warm bread basket were good. We weren't rushed during dinner with one plate immediately followed by another, or after we finished, relaxing delicious dinner. Staff were all very good!“
“Food was good for the price. I order two falafel platters, $12 each. I was surprised to get curly fries in my falafel platters since i personally prefer rice… maybe I can request for half rice and half fries next time. The brookie (half brownie and half cookie) were freshly baked today, and tastes delicious, $1.50 each . Cookie was probably from yesterday, a little stale $1 each.Great customer service and food was prepared quickly! Falafels were crunchy, freshly made! I was in and out within 15-20 mins.“

“I went with friends. Food was good and filling and presented cleanly. Atmosphere was beautiful too, with tall windows perfect for sunlight and easy piano music. My friends had mixed reviews on their drinks, but I personally liked mine (Dirty Chai). I got a small, but it was such a considerable size, like some places might charge you for a large for the same oz. Additionally, a good price, I attached a picture of the cup, which was filled to the brim, and for $4.95 nowadays it’s a bargain. My main issue was the Shakshuka. Again, delicious food. However, the pricing was a bit strange. I ordered a Veggie Lover Shakshuka, which is $10.95. I also wanted Feta, so I wanted that extra. Notice that the Shakshuka is $10.25, and the Shakshuka with feta $10.75. You would assume feta must be 50 cents, right? And that for feta in addition to a Veggie Lover Shakshuka is 50 cents plus $10.95. Look at my receipt. The extra cheese was $2.00. This just seems weird and inconsistent, and when I discussed it with a worker, the worker says that the system automatically charges $2.00 for extras and that they couldn’t set individual prices.Additionally, it seems they forgot the mushrooms and spinach for my Veggie Lover Shakshuka, which comes with peppers, spinach, and mushrooms. However, the workers remedied this when I brought this to their attention, providing extra bread as well.Overall, lovely place with good food, but weird pricing systems that are a bit shady in my opinion. I’d recommend this place, but don’t buy extras since they’ll charge $2.00 for a sprinkle of feta.“

“We stopped here on Christmas Eve 2023 while traveling through the area. It was relatively empty, but there seemed to be a brisk takeout business with phone orders and folks coming in. Seems like a family restaurant that enjoys serving the community.Service was quick and professional, accommodating and not pushy. We split a Greek salad, which was simple but amazing tasting. We both got gyros, but mine had the lamb souvlaki with it, which was a little dry and overcooked (I ordered it medium) l, especially compared to the gyro meat.Would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area.“
