Their food is actually amazing. From sandwiches to cold deli pastas to their catered meals. We’ve tried them all in several variations and am here to tell you… this is the best deli within 5 miles, minimum.
This might be the best Italian deli/market in all of Monmouth county.“

“I surprised my wife for valentines and brought tickets to the valentines dinner and dance 💃 party. This was our first time here and let me tell you it was better than I expected it to be. It was decorated for Valentines from the ceiling to the tables. The service kept coming around to the tables with hors d’oeuvres and the open bar was top shelf liquor. The food was too die for. The coffee and desserts 🍮 and ice cream sundaes were crazy. And don’t let me forget the DJ playing some great music. We can’t wait to go back.“

“We used Chef Marie for a private dinner to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. She did a wonderful job. The planning process was seamless - she was very responsive and helpful with suggestions. We had a four-course meal and each one was fantastic. She uses local and organic ingredidents and is very adaptive to your dietary needs. She even created a special menu for the kids. Marie and her assistant were very personable and professional. They catered to our every need and were an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Chef Marie/Proper Palate for your next dining event.“
“Wonderful set up for a charity event. Part of the room was used for the auction items which lined up along the wall easily. They did a buffet with carving stations, which lined up along the other wall. Dance floor and sound were great! Of course it was Brian Kirk so you can’t go wrong! Very good service.“

“Bayway catered for my baby shower this past Saturday, and I will be honest I was nervous. I never worked with them before, and didn’t know what to expect. However, I was able to get on the phone with Mike 2 days before my event, and he ensured me everything will be on time and that the food I ordered was the right amount. Well, he was right! Billy, the delivery person showed up early and helped with the set up, and the food arrived hot. Every person at the event gave several compliments regarding the flavors and the presentation. I highly recommend Bayway for any size event, and I’ll be using them again! Thanks again, Mike!“
“I ordered a chicken parm hero.. the bread was the best part.. the guy microwaved.. I repeat MICROWAVED the chicken for the chicken parm.. surely there’s a better way ? A little toaster oven maybe? But microwave a chicken cutlet ? 🤦🏻♀️I’ll go back to buy bread but never a hero“
“Had an outdoor barbecue this past weekend and I can’t tell you how much we loved the food and the guys that cooked. They came and set up everything and cleaned up the food when they were done. “I cannot say enough nice things about Alan and ultimate catering. Alan and his staff and their food were amazing, but not only that he was truly just a wonderful human. I was sadly one of those brides that got scammed by AF. I wouldn’t have been known about what was going on if Alan hadn’t been worried about me and how I was doing. He contacted me within days of the scandal and not only told me something that absolutely devastated less than 5 weeks before my wedding, but he asked him how he could help. This man sent me a list of contacts that he had, he contacted his contacts to try to work out a deal for his brides. This man has integrity and such kindness and generosity. If he hadn’t stepped in I wouldn’t have been able to pull together all my venders to successful have my wedding. How on to the food, omg my guests were raving about the food. They loved my passed hors d’oeuvres, but they absolutely died over the roast whole pig that Alan carved himself. This man brought my husband and myself a sampling of every piece of food offering to make sure we ate. He helped me come up with my wedding plan and helped me set up my dream. You cannot go wrong with Alan and his team. Without him who knows if my wedding would’ve happened.“
“Highly exceptionally. You feel like family when you're there. Spotlessly clean,beautifully decorated, and the two rooms flow into one another with the Bar right in the middle. You know you can be at the most elegant halls in the world, but people always remember the food and the service, and bathrooms. Moonlight exemplifies in all three. Food,Service,And cleanliness. Don't forget the warm greetings when you arrive. A real pleasure to visit, I highly recommend them for your next affair.“
“I had my niece’s 40th birthday party at The Columbus Club last night, and it was beyond my expectations! The room is BEAUTIFUL, and very spacious for 100 people. The food was so delicious! Everyone was raving about it. Joe and the rest of the staff were so friendly, helpful and attentive. The pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend having your party with them! I will definitely be back!“

“My husband and I were craving Indian so we decided to try this place. Firstly, picking up it was the nicest customer service. The man was so personal and friendly, it was like walking into a family restaurant. He gave me a tea, some yummy dessert and he didn’t even want to accept money for it.
Secondly, we devoured everything. It was all so delicious and it filled us all up. We got three things but the chicken tikka was amazing.
Overall, I would highly recommend ordering from here. You won’t be disappointed.“
“Another incredible breakfast from Gems Little Silver/Grandma’s!! Pork roll egg and cheese sandwich X5 and a few Rocket sandwiches, a couple of bagels… every bite was phenomenal as always!! On top of the service from Lily and both Oscars being truly outstanding completes the 5 star+ rating!!

“Sweet family owned deli. So many options. Not fancy but we returned 3 days in a row for the breakfast sandwiches. Bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. So good! Healthy portions of egg and bacon. Much more than we usually get at our regular coffee shop. It wasn’t a long wait, but I did notice a heavy call ahead routine. Lots a regulars. Owners knew them by name and asked about family members by name. Just loved the local community vibe.“

“Getting a quick bite to eat for Breakfast.The usual sandwich of toasted hard roll, 2 fried eggs, jalapeno peppers with salt - pepper - ketchup.Spotted this bottle of hot sauce on Stubby's Condiment Shelf and since I like Hot Sauce gave it a try.It added a nice taste to the sandwich.“
