“Had dinner there for the second time on Saturday night! It was very memorable. The food was absolutely fantastic. I had the eggplant with the Barata for an appetizer. It was so delicious and so tasty and my main course was the homemade linguine with lump crab and corn. We also got the meatball which was spectacular and then I got the cheesecake dessert which was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. I absolutely love love love this place. Can’t wait to go back and eat there again.“

“On a lark, we decided to try Luna Stella for dinner earlier this week. We caught it out of the corner of our eyes as it is tucked away slightly off the Main Street of Maplewood, but boy are we glad we found it! We happened to catch them on a live music night so we decided to sit at a bar table and while the dining room was nearly empty, the bar was full. Our waiter was attentive even with a full plate of tables and the owner came over to us several times to see how we were doing. Our drinks were very good, but the food was amazing! The chicken was pounded so thin for the Milenese and fried perfectly. The short rib pappardelle had a deep unctuous beef flavor but was not heavy at all. The pasta was cooked perfectly! We will definitely be going back!“

“Took my girlfriend here the atmosphere was very welcoming and scenic, we both ordered the filet mignon and it came out delicious perfectly cooked the way I asked, also ordered their guacamole which was absolutely the best I've ever had they have their own original take on it. The service was excellent the manager personally came over to ask how the food was which definitely showed their professionalism. Overall a great date night spot and we will most definitely be returning“

“We stumbled across Nico because we were staying nearby and looking for something within walking distance that had reservations available immediately as we were headed to an event at the Prudential Center. I am so happy we did. The food was excellent. Since we were in a little bit of a rush, we ordered a lot to share. The buttermilk biscuits with sweet butter were amazing. The Ceasar salad was really good. And everyone really enjoyed the Steak Frites. Our server Bridgette (sp?) was really wonderful as well. We also got to take advantage of their great happy hour so added bonus.“

“My friends and I have season tickets at the Papermill and always go to the Carriage House for dinner before the show. It is a cozy little place and they do not rush you at all. It is so much better to sit and enjoy a cup of tea after dinner and not have to rush into the theatre. Giovanna has been our waitress many times and is so wonderful and makes you feel like you are the only diners she is waiting on. On this visit I had the parsip and chestnut soup, roasted chicken and coconut snowball. In past I have had the short ribs, pork chop as well as the duck and all have been fabulous. The chef takes pride in his food and always comes out to ensure everyone is happy. I can't wait until the next show and dinner.“

“The Love of Grub is top notch in food and service. This is a business run by people who CARE, both the owners and the team that works there. I come in most weekends for their outstanding food, but I recently had a private event there that couldn’t have gone better. If you go to a catering hall, you will get service, but none of the heart that Tracy (the owner) and her team will have when taking care of you and your guests. My friends and family all had the best time. We were comfortable, the food was outstanding and all made from scratch, and we had so many options to choose from. 100/10, book them for your private event. Thank you team Love of Grub!“
