“This is our go to spot. There is an immediate "welcome home" feeling when you walk in. The staff is extremely welcoming and accommodating. I know it says diner in the name; however, that doesn't do it justice. The hardest thing whenever we come is deciding what to get, which in this case is a good thing. We always know we will have amazing food and friendly, attentive service. Also, let me tell you, the chicken francaise over penne is pastably the best I've ever had.“
“I loved going to eat @ The Whistle Stop with My Daughter Aimee, & My Grandbabies, Owen Joseph & Eva Rose Mangan. We always enjoyed the ladies who owned it. The food was delicious, the special of the day meal was yummy, & My Grandbabies loved when the train would come through!! The last time I ate there was about 1 1/2 years ago. My Daughter Aimee was pretty much a regular there with Owen!! I will always remember the memories of eating @ The Whistle Stop. “The doughnuts (I know how I spelled it, I said what I said), munchkins and other pastries at this location are absolutely delicious. I was shook that they came from a Dunkin so I went back to check again, and yet again, to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It's not. They're fresh every time! I also find the service here to be great. I usually come at night and there is a woman who knows me and my dad and she is sweet to us. They have a dining room but I always take it to go.“

I came to this Taste the Top like a Yelp Elite event today thanks to Sarah and her team. Located in Wayne off of Valley Road, Jackie Small is a bright, comfortable, and cozy eatery with 13 two-seater tables open during breakfast and lunch. There was no wait upon entering and being greeted by the staff, Hector. Their menu, inspired by traditional Middle Eastern recipes, is vast, featuring their popular shawarma grain bowl, Greek salad, as well as French toast, avocado toast, grilled cheese, blueberry pancakes, veggie bowls, BLT's, etc. It's first come, first served, as one orders at the counter, has a seat, and they'll deliver your food to your table. I decided on Smalls Scramble consisting of 3 eggs soft-scrambled, Gruyere cheese, roasted tomatoes, truffle home fries, and multi-grain toast. To wash it down, I went for the Mango Supreme smoothie (mango nectar, strawberry, banana, honey, and pineapple). The food was perfect—great portions and very good quality. The smoothie was delicious and refreshing. This place checked all the boxes, which I can recommend.“

“I had their Adeni tea and Mofawar coffee on two separate occasions and both were outstanding. I thought the tea was the best thing I ever had but then I tried the coffee and was truly blown away. I will definitely be back to try more of the items they have to offer.“
