“As a newcomer to Waldwick, we’ve been exploring local restaurants to celebrate our move — and this charming spot definitely stood out. I haven’t been in the U.S. for very long, but this place gave off such a nostalgic, classic diner vibe.

Even though we visited early in the morning, the restaurant was already bustling, which really showed how much the locals love it.

The service was fast and friendly, and the food came out quickly, tasted great, and was very reasonably priced.

It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again — truly a lovely little gem in town.“

“Great little diner on Main Street in New City. Excellent breakfasts. Try the French toast! Or the blueberry pancakes. Or pretty much everything! Good coffee in old fashioned diner mugs. Friendly staff, too. New owners since January 2025. Updated space looks great. Still good food, friendly staff, now open for dinner 5 nights.“

“Wait staff was friendly and you were not pushed to finish dinner. We had the shrimp po' boy and the grilled ribeye open face steak sandwich. I asked for my French fries to be extra crispy and they were delicious. After driving for almost 5 hours, sitting in rush hour traffic and construction, this diner made our day and on a really great note.“

“Abbie’s Diner is back and better than ever. They freshened up the interior with new tables, chairs and decor. This morning we had pancakes French toast, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Everything was delicious and the service is super friendly. A couple of cool things to note: their coffee is really good now, they have whole grain toast, and you can get blueberry pancake pancakes. If you haven’t been back since them reopening, recommend going soon!“

“Ok, Grant Plater u fukn idiot it's obvious u don't get out to eat much... So d*** f*** any diner in the fun word u go to u get a waffle that can be cut into 4 sections. As far as chicken n Waffles d*** fuk unless u specify fried chicken and waffles, u will get tenders as for the gravy stupid for ur chicken, ur supposed to use syrup with this plate. If you did get fried chicken the cost would go up, duhh let me guess u would b**** about that to. Unless u no how a dish is served u should not complain because u sound like a fukn d*** a** who doesn't have a clue about dining out.. you wud be the type to go to a classy astablishment and say wats all the forks and spoons for by one plate.. ask before u comment and make a a** out of urself“

“We mostly order from the catering package, no order is too small or too large, We were accomodated very well. My Favorites are the Kare-Kare, Turon, Fried Chicken, Lumpia, and the Sisig. For Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, Church Events, etc they will not disappoint.“

“We used to go to Park West quite often, but stopped when we were tired of having to check the bill carefully for overcharging. Happened again yesterday when we called in a pick up and 2 of the 3 items ordered were wrong and the wrong higher price was still charged. And, we didn't get two items we ordered, nor the coleslaw and pickle that was requested. Not happy at all“

“We've eaten here dozens of times. The food has always been consistently good. Last trip and today it was just mediocre. Our granddaughters both ordered grilled cheese. Both plates were dry toast with mostly un-melted cheese slices.
The waiter never came to ask how our food was. (No. It wasn't especially busy.) We pointed out the sandwiches when he brought the check. And he literally shrugged.

“We've eaten there many times. The food is good with large portions and at very reasonable prices. Mohammad the waiter, aka Mo, is exceptionally friendly, attentive, professional and accommodating. His service is fantastic and always with a smile. We've had other waitresses serve us that were not so friendly and their service was very disappointing so we try to go when we know Mo is working. I highly recommend eating there and hopefully you'll get Mo to serve you. It just makes your meal more enjoyable.“

“Today my mom and I stumbled upon Ramsey Corner Café in Ramsey, New Jersey, and what a wonderful find it was!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome from the staff. Our server, Maria, was incredibly friendly, upbeat, and cheerful. Great service can make all the difference, and she definitely helped make our experience special.

The daily specials looked amazing, and the menu had so many tempting options. While we were seated, I happened to notice the owner outside wiping down tables and getting everything ready for the day. It may seem like a small thing, but it spoke volumes about the pride and care he takes in his business. It was refreshing to see that level of dedication firsthand.

Now let’s talk about the omelet! I honestly can’t remember the last time I had an omelet this good. I ordered one with sausage, turkey bacon, onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers. It was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. So many places overcook omelets or leave them bland, but this one was absolutely delicious. Even my mom could tell how much I was enjoying it!

The hash browns were perfectly cookednot greasy at alland everything tasted fresh and homemade.

I am so happy we discovered this gem. I can’t wait to come back, try more items from the menu, and tell my friends and family about it. Ramsey Corner Café has definitely earned a new loyal customer!

“I used to go frequently and tge food was great. My husband and I stopped in for lunch, and he ordered shrimp and rigatoni and I order chicken souvlaki. Upon eating, in 15 min both of us experienced stomache pains and gas. I dont know what happened. We felt queasy which subsided after an hour.“

“We found this place on our way out of town after a vacay and couldn’t have been happier. The staff were delightful and so accommodating. We took three recommendations from our server and enjoyed them all. The menu has so many eclectic options, there’s no way you can’t find SOMETHING you’ll like. Their coffee options are amazing. Their dessert options divine. Also, one of the cleanest diners I have ever seen. Can’t recommend enough for a nice family option while in Jersey!“
