Omg the staff was friendly and attentive to me and my order, the young lady Shantel definitely deserves a bonus!!! She was kind, engaging, knowledgeable about her sandwich’s and the toppings and her recommendations were on point. She was engaging with her coworkers and she cleans up a lot and you can see she’s clean, and her parents raised a beautiful young lady with her mannerisms. “I worked at J&M for years and this was the best nearby place for lunch when tips were good on a Saturday. I realized over the years that this is by far the best sloppy joe sandwich anywhere in north New Jersey. I now live in the greater Philadelphia area, and still bring a cooler with me when I travel to the Madison area to bring a few of these sandwiches back with me to enjoy. So happy to see they are still in business, glad that some good things never change!“

“This was my first time trying this location and it wasn't a bad experience. Although I did enjoy my good, there were a few small errors that won't allow me to go above 4 stars. I specifically asked for the sauce on the cheese fries to be on the side. However the cheese was on top and it was a bit messier than I would've liked. This wasn't a deal breaker since the fries were soggy and still had a good amount of cheese. However she they were unnecessarily messy.
Similarly with the sandwich. The flavor was there. The roll was soft. Lettuce was crisp, as was the tomato juicy.
Buuuut, the sandwich wasn't evenly sliced. Almost as if they started to cut it and then stopped. Which made a port fall out when I picked it up. So, although minor errors, they were big enough to affect how much I enjoyed the meal.
Will I return? I would say Yes!!“

The lady at the front was so nice and made sure we ordered what we wanted.There were A LOT of people around the line and they seemed to have no idea how to watch where they’re going.The food was definitely good. The fries were amazing (very well cooked) and I LOVED the ranch. The cheesesteak was also top-notch. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak was great but not out-of-this-world the best I’ve ever had. Overall we’d probably go again.
