“Easily one of the best places in the area. The vibe in there hits the exact right note because it feels super inviting and comfortable, but still classy enough for a nice night out.

Both the food and cocktails were amazing from start to finish. I got the New York strip steak and it was unbelievable. It was incredibly juicy, so tender that it literally melted in your mouth, and the brandy cream sauce on it was phenomenal. The potato gratin served on the side was fantastic as well, especially with that crispy top. Plus, the cocktails were really well made and balanced.

“Enjoyed Aikou for a girl's lunch with my sister-in-law. We found them attentive and punctual with service, as well as considerate with refilling water, clearing used plates, and providing clean replacements for our shared lunch without us needing to ask. The place was clean and decently spacious to maneuver my wheelchair, with comfortable seating options and simple decor. The noise level became a little loud acoustically when more people arrived, but it wasn't overwhelming and we could have a conversation comfortably. The food was freshly prepared and well-made with good quality ingredients, and they were able to accommodate my food allergies without trouble.“

“This is a brand new, recently opened restaurant and wow did they deliver for first impressions. Food was absolutely incredible. The sushi was fresh and made quickly. I had the volcano roll and the Naruto rainbow row, it was beautiful and delicious. Very good quality cuts and tasted fresh Really impressed by their milk tea as well. We got the original and Taro milk tea and it was fantastic. Staff was also very friendly and helpful in deciding what to order. Would definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town!“

“We walked into this place last minute on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday since another sushi place had been unable to accommodate gf. We could not have stumbled upon a better experience! Elan at the sushi bar made us a custom omakase tasting all gluten free and so delicious. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and really created a one of a kind meal while making us feel special and taken care of. We ended up with about 15 different courses i believe all fabulous and ended with a special ice cream sushi dessert. Best part was it’s been a bit since we ended and i still feel great, stuffed but i can tell it was celiac safe! We will definitely be back!“

I live in Summerville so there's several sushi options we have but I didn't really find them good or tasty. And my friend recommended we go to this place and honestly by 4:00 best tasting sushi that I've had in New Jersey. It's very clean, it's a great talking atmosphere, staff is friendly. Prices are good. FYI parking is behind the restaurant. I didn't realize that before signing a parking in the shopping center across the street.“

“My family and I made a visit to Go Sushi in Scotch Plains and were blown away with how good the food was! The photos I attached don’t do justice to how amazing all the food was. We had something as simple as edamame and that was even super yummy. We had the viral sushi push up pop and chicken wrapped asparagus as appetizers. As for our entrees, we have the most delicious dinner bento box with a nice selection of sides. Everything was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavors. Our server was the sweetest lady and very helpful, answering any questions we had. And to end the night off strong we had Ice Cream Tempura, where they fried Green Tea ice cream. Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it, I loved it and I’m not even a big fan of green tea! All four of us left with full bellies and a smile on our faces. Speaking of palpable… in their journey before returning to Middlesex County, in Highland Park this time around, they have made their menu even BETTER, which seems almost impossible for a place so legendary, but it’s true.
