“Absolutely amazing. They're a family owned restaurant so I understand its hard with these times and coronavirus. Its hard to find good Indian food and I must say, I've been coming here for more than 20 years and I still will be coming more and more! Out of all the restaurants in parsippany & Rt 46, I specially come down to Wayne to eat this amazing food. my fav is the sag panir, malai kofta, and vegetable biryani. I love the one waitress and how she explained the spice levels according to chiptole and taco bell! the uncle who is the owner always greets everyone like hes known them for years. Like we are family, its heart warming since i dont live with my family. Amazing food, amazing people and amazing prices!“

“I love their Chicken Pita wrap and wings.Make sure to ask for “double fried” which makes it extra crispy like the Korean Fried Chicken. My favorite sauce of choice always would be honey bbq. The Gyro platter is my second favorite but I will always go for the Chicken Pita wrap because the meat and sauce consistency is excellent.They also have a banana pudding that you cannot forget to buy as a side. I normally hate chunky bananas in my banana pudding but theirs is absolutely my favorite. (No chunky banana’s)The service is okay (that’s where I give it 4.5) there is one guy there that never smiles or laughs I’m not sure what his issue is but every time I went there in the lunch time he never seemed to be welcoming but I never let that affect me. I just come the hours he’s not there. But either way the other employees and owner are fantastic don’t let one mood ruin your whole day.The food is great. Overall I would pick this place when I need my gyro fix in the Wayne area.“

“THIS PLACE IS AWESOME !!!! I came from Canada and wanted to try something other than Halal Guys. This place blows them out of the water. Ordered:

1) Chicken Platter - AWESOME !!!! Portion was good and flavor was sooooooo good

2) Philly Cheese Steak - OMG !!!! The hero/sub was sooo good that it is a "must have"

3) Mixed Gyro - ALHUMDULLIAH !!!! The Sandwich / Pita was so packed that it took time to eat and I enjoyed every bite.

4) The Big Ash Chicken - MASHALLAH !!! The taste was sooo good that I wish I had more.

Anyone that follows me, this place has to be on your list of MUST TRY.

“I’m visiting NJ (lived here for a long time) and wanted to eat some of my favorite foods. I ordered dinner from port of peri peri and it was perfectly cooked but missing my fries. I let that be known to the restaurant and received a small refund. Next night, I ordered dinner again and I received a large order of fries on the house as well as a discount card for 5% for dine in orders valid for one more week. Amazing customer service. If I were in NJ longer, I would surely order again! The food is absolutely delicious 😋“

“Huge shout out to Fat Moe’s Mediterranean Food on Rte 23 in Butler. I placed a large order consisting of kebab platter, shawarma cheesesteak sandwich, mixed grill platter, tabouleh salad, stuffed grape leaves, baba ghanoush, cheese borek, and basbousa, accompanied by pickles and sauces,for delivery for 4pm. Not only were they punctual but the food was delicious and reminded me of my days in Egypt where I grew up. Furthermore, at around 5 pm I got a call from Moe, the owner to ask me whether I was satisfied with the order and to let him know how he could make it better… That goes way beyond quality service !! I highly recommend his restaurant and wish him the best of luck !👏👏👏“

“I saw this place while driving . I wanted to try authentic Yemeni coffee. I tried Sana’ani coffee which is medium roast coffee with cardamom. I enjoyed this exotic taste. Store is clean and comfortable. Staff is knowledgeable about coffee. They offer authentic Yemeni desserts and America and desserts. They also nice selection of exotic teas.“

“Excellent, a close place to grab halal food. Tried gyro and falafel platter. Rice was cumin forward, gyro lots of flavor and falafel crunch but soft on the inside. Falafel is spiced a little bit differently, not overly vegetal. White and red sauce available too. Will be go-to lunch place. Prices are average but portion is decently sized. Dining tables inside too.“

The khichuri, chicken pulao, butter chicken, biryani, beef bhuna, Haleem, paratha, chicken lollipop, and chicken 65 were all so delicious! The best part of the restaurant was the malai chop— soft and delicious, simply amazing! Also a shoutout to their tea and fresh green mango juice! If you are in New Jersey looking for a halal place to eat with your family this is the place!! The food was just soooooooo good and the customer service was great!! “A long time secret gem of Paterson, NJ. Best Waffles anywhere. One of the places you can get delicious breakfast, lunch and or dinner at the same time. Everything on the menu is amazing and the owner is always open to having a great conversation. Definitely one of most favorite places in the city!“

“The Turkish food here is of high quality. We had the mixed platter of cold appetizers and the mixed meat entree. So yummy! The host and waiters were very welcoming and efficient. When they made a mistake and forgot a side we ordered, they still brought it late and did not charge us. Then they brought us tea and baklava on the house. They want you to leave happy. “I'm glad my uber eats delivery guy from another place was lost, which made me angry enough to drive about 24 minutes to try Zakir's Bakery Gyro Express for the first time. Wow! The double cheeseburger was plump, juicy, and delicious, not like most of the late night halal places. The fries, to me, can definitely compete with the McDonald's fries as far as the right amount of salt, unlike all the other places, which make you feel that you need 2 gallons of water due to the crazy salt content. The gyro platter mix was amazing because it tasted different from all the other mix platters out there due to what I think was a touch of vinegar. Man, that was delicious! Please keep that kind of quality always!“

“Great tasty BBQ. Our favorite is the kefta kebab. Only reason 1 star is deducted because I purchased three orders of the (six) skewers for a total of 18 skewers but was given less when I decided to count today. Not a big deal but if I am asked to combine my three orders to one platter, we will check and let you know if we were shorted :)
