Holy Schlitz! This is the best pastrami I've ever tasted including Katz's, Carnegie Deli (70s-90s), & Harold's of Raritan (80s-2010s)! If you've not gone, GO!!! I won't steer you wrong. It's tender, juicy, fresh, and has so much flavor! It's the Kobe of Pastrami! Sorry, didn't try the corn beef or knish but maybe next time. I got the $15.95 sandwich plus one Lb of pastrami $26.95. Tax is 6.625%. I paid cash but they do take cc. Just GO!“

“As a local mortgage lender, I’ve been to a lot of great restaurants, but Rails Steakhouse stands out as my absolute favorite. Everything I’ve ever tried here has been excellent — the honey bourbon ribeye is my go-to, the Caesar salad is phenomenal, and the blue cheese au gratin potatoes are incredible. The staff is always friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is top-notch. The speakeasy downstairs is such a cool addition and makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Rails for anyone looking for an unforgettable meal and vibe.“

“Went here for the first time last nite would definitely recommend if you want a delicious steak ! I had the ribeye with mushrooms and my son had the strip with blue cheese and fried onions ( god that was amazing ) No frills type of place except for the yummy sangria Can’t wait to return and wish I could post my videos to show you steak sizzling on the plate“

“Exceptional Hospitality & Outstanding Dining Black Bull Steakhouse never disappoints! Despite planning to close early for snow, they graciously welcomed us, showcasing their top-notch hospitality. The service was impeccable—attentive, warm, and professional. And the food? Simply outstanding. Every dish, from perfectly cooked steaks to delicious sides, was exceptional. Our waiter Artie was amazing. A huge thank you to the team for going above and beyond, despite wanting to close early because of the snow, they welcomed us graciously and provided amazing service. “As always, the dining experience was excellent. Our server James was very attentive, and very helpful in explaining all the food and steak options. Our table had the skirt steak special, the veal chop and the filet. We were all happy. The owner Greg came by to ensure we were happy. We will be back again. A great evening.“

“Grew up going to the Nutley location and now they're in Fairfield. I swear on their Ribs but they have a fantastic beer list with great local options and awesome happy hour specials for drinks and apps ( highly recommend prime rib Sliders). Met family for dinner the other night and got the "Baby Spinach" Salad with steak added and the steak was cooked perfectly and every ingredient was fresh. Huge menu that could accommodate pretty much anyone. Great stop in the area.“
