“Not pet friendly... guys, it is different time, keep up with the changes, make little section for customers with pets. Though I have to admit that man at the cashier was so NICE and HELPFUL I can't thank him enough. He even brought our order outside where we had to wait for our sandwiches.“

We did have to wait a little before getting helped bc each group pretty much gets a little history of where the place started, and there's only one person who speak to the customers. The ice cream seems to be high quality and the cones are made to order! I personally don't prefer the cone texture, even though they're fresh they're still a little dense. But I'd def come back and get a cup with a smaller portion of the cone.“

“I ordered catering for my birthday event last weekend and the food was amazing! I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Whether it’s Brunch or dinner, the food never disappoints! Hence why I thought it was a good idea to ask for them to cater for my bday! Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! I also ordered catering from here back in February for my galentines party and the food was also a success during that time. I know I can count on them for providing exemplary food as well as service. Thank you, Anthony and his team for making my birthday memorable!“

“I love that the kids have a safe place to go but it does get quite noisy when you're trying to write and things. And sometimes the music gets really loud. Other wise the sweets are really good and it's a cool space but not for those seeking other adult only “

“Loved my experience here at this girly pink cafe. The shop keeps the music at a reasonably low level (at least while I was there during the week) so work can be done. Drinks are great and food menu is extensive. This place definitely needs to be a staple in everyone’s WFH cafes. ?“

“I've been looking for a local, full service coffee shop that roasts their own beans, sells coffee/espresso, as well as offers breakfast and lunch.**This IS that place**I couldn't tell from their website, but the posts I saw on insta showed that they serve food, and I'm happy to report that it tastes as good as it looks!Very friendly staff and accommodating. Although it's currently the middle of December, I wanted a macchiato over ice, which wasn't on their menu, but when I asked they happily said 'of course'.Seems like I'm going to have to sign up for their points system because I can tell I'm going to be back here a whole lot more.I'm particularly interested in sampling their beans, just wish i didn't have to buy an entire bag of beans. Why don't these local roasters sell sample packs, allowing you to still purchase a pound of beans, but separated into small batches with samples of each bean type? This would allow me to quickly figure out which bean I want to try without having to buy a single large bag and take a month to go through coffee I don't really like before trying the next type . . . Or maybe i should start roasting my own beans and do this method . . .Anyways, I really like the space they have, they've really made the most of it, very cozy and inviting.Can't wait to go back“

“WOW - found this hidden gem as I was craving soup on a snowy day only to realize this place is less than 5 min from me. My favorite soup is Italian wedding and happened to be the day it was being served! I ordered delivery of the soup and Cuban panini and instantly fell in love. I’m excited to see and try all the other soups because this is one of the (if not the best) Cuban panini (with pickles!) and Italian soup I’ve ever had. I look forward to going in person next time!“

“Defying Gravitea is a cute spot for breakfast, coffee/tea, or some little sweets. My mom and I stopped in early one morning and the owner Gina was super friendly and welcoming. The menu is entirely gluten/dairy free and as someone who is not gluten or dairy free, I believe the food was just as tasty, if not better! I had a pot of Rise + Glow tea and French toast. Will definitely be back!“

“I met a friend for dinner in Boonton and he asked if I've ever been to Boonton Coffee Co. When I said "no" he said "you gotta try this coffee". We walked over and I ordered an iced vanilla latte, just like I've done at Starbucks for well over a decade. Long story short, this place has ruined Starbucks for me. The quality and flavor of their coffee is unmatched. With all due respect to Folgers Freeze Dried coffee, that's what Starbucks now tastes like in comparison. If the owners are reading this...please let me know if you're considering another location. I'd definitely invest.“

“Ladies and gentlemen this is one of the best cafes in and around clifton-paterson- garfield area where you can grab a very flavorful coffee and enjoy a little studying time. The cafe has plenty of seats for everyone and plenty of outlets. Mario and jason are both great baristas and are phenomenal with the customers. I definitely come here often and study and enjoy the environment and vibes of cafe. It can get a little hectic and loud when there are inconsiderate people around but all in all one of my fav cafes. “Wayne Hot Bagels supplied breakfast for Teacher Appreciation Week and did a fabulous job! They were friendly, courteous, patient and worked with me to find items that fit within the budget. They even personally delivered for us free of charge. They truly were a pleasure to deal with and I would definitely use them again for future events!“

“I would definitely consider myself a regular. Love their sandwiches and bakery items. The best part about this restaurant is their amazing and friendly staff. Everyone is just so nice and willing to help/answer any questions you have. The bakery is very relaxing so you could definitely get some work done if that's your cup of tea. The only negative I must comment on is that their sandwiches sit under a heated lamp so their bagels can get a bit soggy. “We hired Custodi to cater our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the experience. We had them provide a buffer appetizer/cocktail hour, as well as coffee and tea service during dessert. We live in Oregon and got married in New Jersey, but Chris made the long distance communication and logistics a breeze. Day of, he sent a great team, and they were able to navigate the day smoothly, and make it ever the more easier for my husband and I to just enjoy our day and not be asked a thousand questions. “I see this place when we pass by. I have never stopped in until today. First I thought they onlySold tea. However, much to my surprise they have coffee too. There are other shops nearby that we had visited and it was time to compare. The mocha latte was very good. Tasty in all the right ways without over powering with the mocha. My husband had the chai tea and he said it was good too. MySon ordered the cheese empanada. Now that one did hurt because by where we live they only cost $2 and not $5. The barista was helpful in answering any questions we had.We sat in the new area while we waited. We played a couple rounds of tic tac toe. They also have a small children’s library selection.“

The restaurant was decorated with a myriad of artistic knickknacks. My server was polite, and they came to check in throughout my time there.I took advantage of the 4 appetizers for $30 deal as I was not super hungry. I ordered their beet salad, falafel waffle, stuffed grape leaves, and stuffed kebeh. I intended on ordering the dandelion greens, but they were not available, which was disappointing. “I visit NJ often and come to taskin for most of my simits and poğaça.So far its the highest quality product I've seen in terms of simit and poğaça.One thing I will note is that the simit is not traditional simit, it has a more fluffy taste and is sweeter then the normal simit. “Second time having breakfast here and it was just as good as the first! They have omelettes eggs, french toast pancakes. All the standard breakfast stuff. They're blueberry pancakes are some of the freshest I've ever had. Today I had one of their specials which were brownie pancakes they were little pieces of homemade brownie mixed in with the batter. Then they were very good. They don't have cold brew but they're regular. Ice coffee is some of the best I've ever tasted. The manager is sweet. She runs the cafe. Takes all the orders and interacts with the customers. I had breakfast with my father and sometimes he can be a pain. They didn't have expresso but she allowed him to come in with a cup of coffee from the outside which I was embarrassed by but it was very nice of her to allow .She's very friendly and outgoing. This will definitely be one of my new frequent places to visit.“
