“Heard about this place just about a year ago! Went there one other time last year and fell in love with their ham! Went there today and it's just as good! I had the Ham Classic sandwich! OMG!!! This ham is so tasty! You can get it with Swiss or Cheddar cheese, I chose Swiss. Lettuce, tomato, Mayo and their honey mustard Dijon sauce! This is DA BOMB!!! The honey mustard Dijon compliments it so much! Fresh croissant it's on! Just mouth watering good! Love this place and I'm sure you will too! “1st time to New Jersey. We decided to order from a deli, so we ordered from Poppies, best decision we ever made. We ordered through a delivery service and it was still hot when it arrived. We ordered the hot roast beef sandwich on long roll and a bacon cheese burger on long roll with 2 bags of doretoes. They did not disappoint they were big, hot and very tasty. I will recommend to friends and family if they are coming to New Jersey from Texas anytime in the future.“

“Oh man… where to start. The service was phenomenal, great recommendations, great atmosphere, the owner, Ms. Dana greeted us with a smile, Nikki the manager was great to deal with. Now the food… I had the special, “The Gobbler” and it was unbelievably tasty. The crunch from the toasted bread, the flavors all together were a symphony on my taste palette. My gf got the “Toni Ann” and she couldn’t talk while we were eating together because she wouldn’t stop stuffing her face. After she said the chicken cutlet was cooked perfect, mozzarella was fresh, peppers were exquisite. Overall experience was just mind-blowing. I’d recommend Ferraro’s to any person, local or travelers, you NEED to stop and eat here.“

“Mama Rao’s kitchen has been catering all of our main home events last few years and we get nothing but raves from all of our family and friends over the food. They just did our Easter for twenty eight people, everyone loved the ham and eggplant rollitini and I am a big fan of their meatballs and sausage in their homemade gravy. “Good spot for a quick bite in downtown Newark. I’ve been coming here for years because the food is always fresh, consistently good, and made to order. The smoothies are excellent, and Mr. Kim and the grill master are always welcoming and kind.

It’s a clean, well kept deli with a small seating area. I usually enjoy my meal by the window, but most customers grab their food to go.
