This is a no-nonsense old school type luncheonette serving great sandwiches at very fair prices. Whatever their secret is, it makes a difference in a good way and somehow puts their Cuban sandwich above the rest.
La Pola was labeled the Best Cuban Sandwich in the nation and it is a pure fact and well earned rating. I grew up in WNY and this was always our go to for the best Cubano, their Especial De La Casa is my favorite. I live upstate NY and the over an hour drive down just for a couple sandwiches. Stopping in tomorrow morning on our drive up from Baltimore.La Pola is an old school institution. You go there for the good food and friendly service. I recommend!

Old School spot. Bring Cash!I’ve been to several Cuban eateries. This is my favorite. Best Cuban sandwich. Best Croquettes. The old school energy comes through in the food. Go check em out they are worth your dime.
