“This is the 2nd time I attend el Son Cubano and I wish I live closer, so I could attend more often, it's super fun, the food is delicious and what I love the most is the ambience, is very relaxing but at the same time is fancy and the music is just THE BEST!!. “Hace poco hice un pedido para un evento social familiar por un valor de $540 pero decidí pagar con mi tarjeta de crédito, obviamente me cobran el impuesto tax 6.625% de venta, sin embargo, tuvieron el descaro de cobrarme un 2.9% adicional por el uso de la tarjeta de crédito. Cuando les pregunté, me dijeron que había un cajero (ATM) automático que podía usar, por lo tanto si lo pagaría en efectivo y solo pagaría $ 540. Parece obvio que están tratando de estafar el impuesto sobre las ventas del gobierno. en cualquier caso, la comida no era tan buena y nunca volveré a ellos. Buen trabajo para estafar a los clientes pidiéndoles efectivo en lugar de pagar una factura de tarjeta de crédito.“

“This place is one of the best places to have a healthy lunch in West New York. I am amazed that it doesn't have any review yet. I tried fish and also lunch specials twice out three times being there, I recommend fish and cow tail. A nice girl works there having very helpful attitude toward customers (unfortunately I don't remember her name but you will find her at lunch). You might have a little bit of problem communicating in english, but all of the times that I had lunch there, they prepared exactly what I meant. A meal size was more than enough for me and I am not skinny, unhealthy or anything. Did I mention the price? it is worth every penny.“

“This is a family favorite! Since the food is fresh and very cheap compare to today’s prices within other restaurants around the same area. It could be better flavored, but they have their own seasoning. My favorite dish would have to be the Mangu with eggs, cheese and salami for breakfast. Cannot for get their oatmeal drink& hot chocolate.

Kid-friendliness: You can bring your kids and eat with family if that’s your preference. They do have kids seats.“

“Apart from the fact that it is open 24 hours, they attended to us with great dedication and positive attitude. The real sandwich with a mortal size accompanied by natural juices closed the night with a flourish.

“Heard about this place online for their famous steak sandwich and decided to take the trip since it seemed relatively close to my neighborhood. Ended up taking a little longer than usual because its in a very population dense area with a lot of traffic and parking was brutal. I wouldn't say it located in the worst area but it's defiantly not a nice area, anyways on to the food. the restraint itself looks very old and beat up but who cares menu has 1 sandwich on it and it's cash only. Id recommend any foodie to come try this place at least once because its a food journey but the traffic and parking and cash only are enough of a hassle to keep me away unless I'm directly in the neighborhood, also try to eat it there because the trip home will take too long.“

“Very nice place, the old lady is so sweet i was in new york for 10 days during the world cup, this placed saved us from spending a lot of money in other places we went every single day there because it is cheap and good food, I am giving 5 stars not just because of the food but because the dominican old lady liked Brazil and not argentina thank you!!!!!!“

We ordered through Uber Eats and they arrived in about 20–30 minutes, still warm and absolutely delicious. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, with generous filling in every bite. The meat was beautifully seasoned, not too salty, not bland at all. You can really taste the care put into them.
I 100% recommend them and will definitely order again!“
