“Perfect Asian takeout we’re done in. Owner is very sweet and friendly.. she cooks and the man in the back looks very hard-working. Clean good/ newer strip center bordering Westhampton and springside Road . She knows how to run a business and everyone loves her food. I wish I could go back more often, but the economy is killing me. Love the way it’s decorated not your typical type Chinese looking restaurants. She cares for her plants and appearance of her business! If she goes to the trouble of all that, imagine the QUALITY food she’s gonna put out to you. I will be back Mr. Cheng!“

Salt & Pepper Fried Frog 🐸 this was good. Would have liked a little bigger pieces

Sautéed Eggplant with Green Beans 🍆 well flavored. I liked that the eggplants were not falling apart. The skin was soft but not mushy

Mapo Tofu with minced meat 🍛 we felt this was average. Not bad but would get something else instead next time to try“

“We called for delivery and waited an hour and the driver still hadn’t showed. We called them and they said they were very busy and we would have to come pick it up. At first I was angry but then I got there and saw how busy they were. The lady was very nice and gave me 2 dollars back and a free 2 liter of Pepsi and was very apologetic. Food is great but sometimes you just need to be patient when they’re slammed. It’s a small restaurant.“

“My father, grandmother and I visited this location today and had a good experience. We ordered a bowl of hot and sour soup which was shared between all three of us with some left over. Of course we had the lettuce wraps which were delicious as to be expected. I liked the way the meals were served... if you wanted to share your meal with others they provide extra plates. My firecracker shrimp was delicious. Not too spicy but not bland at all. My father had changes spicy chicken and my grandmother had the Teriyaki beef. Everything was delicious. Our server Sam was great and packed up all of our left overs. The best part of the meal was the limited time dessert called the Pink Slip cheesecake! It was to die for. I would recommend that dessert to everyone!

Only negative was that both my grandmother and my father thought the music was too loud but when we mentioned it to the server she tried to address the issue for us.“

“Called ahead of time & someone told me the meal I wanted to order was gluten free. Ordered on door dash & they immediately called me to tell me it’s not gluten free and that they will make me my own sauce. They said it also comes with egg rolls that aren’t gluten free and they will put in a free soda to make up for the cost. Not only amazing service, but it was DELICIOUS & came so quick!

“My wife and I order from China Express at least once a week. My wife has conversations with the young lady who seems to always be there answering the phone and ringing you up at the register. She is very friendly and the food is great! I'm working late today and actually picking some up tonight. It is just my wife and I, as the kids are out of the house now, and we always order more food than we could eat, but it is so good the next day.

Parking: They do have tables and chairs to dine in but most people like us prefer to take-out as we live right down the road about 10 minutes from there. With people picking up their orders, there is always parking and never a wait for your order.“

“We have our usual Chinese place, but we thought we'd give this one a try because it was conveniently on our way home from a service. I ordered the sezchuan tofu. My husband got vegetable chow mein and we also got a side of vegetable fried rice. The sezchuan tofu was probably the best Chinese takeout I've ever had. It wasn't too spicy to eat but had enough kick to make my sinuses clear. The fried rice was too sticky and didn't seem fried. It was lacking in seasoning and flavor but the vegetables in it were big and chunky. My husband's chow mein looked great but lacked sauce. It was all fresh. I'll def be back for the tofu dish.

Since moving from North Jersey to South Jersey several years ago, we have been trying to find a Chinese restaurant that knew how how make Chicken Chow Mein. Most make what I would call onion soup - it is all onions, with some carrots and very juicy. You NEVER put carrots in Chicken Chow Mein. The May Flower knows how make Chicken Chow Mein that tastes the way it should. Adding extra chicken puts this meal over the top!! We also like their Shrimp Lo Mein. We are anxious to venture further and try additional menu items. If you want Chinese food made the way it should be, this is the place for you. We had our food delivered and were very pleased with their own pleasant, efficient and quick delivery service. now i'm not gonna lie here folks, i'm not some sorta connoisseur when it comes to chinese food. but what i am a connoisseur of is eating. if i didn't enjoy something, i wouldn't go back. however, this place has me coming back time and time again!

their lo mein and fried rice options are delicious and are my typical pick ups from the joint. not to mention they're fairly priced too.

although, despite the tasty morsels these fine ladies and gents are chefing up. i got a slight bone to pick with them.

i almost always exclusively order delivery from them. and for some reason 9 times outta 10 they confuse my address with my neighbors. it isn't the worst thing in the world, and thank goodness my neighbor isn't some sorta jerk. but it'd be nice if this somehow corrected itself. not sure how, i've tried. believe me. so i guess it is what it is.

all in all though, delivery shenanigans aside here, this place has some tasty treats if you're lookin' for a solid stop that's well priced and conveniently located. so go give them a shot! no doubt you'll have a good time too.“

“This is the only place that reminds me of the Chinese food from up north. I’ve tried a few places, and this place resonates and tastes somewhat like the food I am used to ordering from Perth Amboy.
