4 Best Mexican Restaurants near Westfield

“Came to Maize for dinner with my toddler and husband to see what the hype was all about. Margarita was excellent. Was bummed my daughter didn’t have access to a high chair as they only have two and were being used. For a restaurant in a family friendly downtown there needs to be more high chairs available. Food was ok. Atmosphere 5 stars. Service was good. My daughter’s meal was also forgotten and did not come out with the main entree. Likely would come back for drinks and appetizers on a date night versus with my toddler.“

“Not only was the food amazing but Chef Vaughn and his staff were so welcoming! I ordered a steak burrito and forgot to mention to cook the meat well done (being pregnant). Vaughn was so kind and ordered another to my liking. It was delicious. Can't wait to come back!“

“Went to Tinga for some dinner and the food was very good and authentic. We ordered the jalapeño poppers and chicken and vegetable soup for appetizers. For dinner we got the carne asada burrito and steak quesadilla which I did not get to take photos of because we were so hungry! The jalapeño poppers and soup were delicious and the steak was charred and very tasty.

The chips with different salsas and guacamole were delicious as well. I recommend the tinga salsa!

For dessert we got xangos and churros which were both delicious. Maybe a little less caramel on the churros would be even better to taste its crispiness.

Definitely try this out if you are in the mood for mexican food and in the area!“
