“The food was good and fairly priced. The fries that came with the burgers were a hit with everyone in my party. I got the pumpkin martini out of curiosity and would recommend it to fans of pumpkin spice, but the most noteworthy item I got was the Belgian Waffle beer. Event I was with couldn't get over how much it actually smelled like a waffle, even from six seats away at the bar. It also genuinely tasted like a wake which was very pleasant for the first half, but too sweet for the second half. I would recommend trying it for the experience if you only plan on getting 1 beer, not so much if you plan on drinking more.“
“Let me tell you, the absolute awesome best Puerto Rican food ever!!! Super filling and the taste have you wanting more. Everything clean. Staff and owner is very friendly, loving , caring and kind. Thank you Cilantro Dining and Catering LLC.“
“Food and service here are great. Everyone from base comes here. Not everyone sits and eats but is usually a pick up and go. Food is made fresh from what I can tell. They have an open salad bar option which is cool. It's a nice spot to have a quick bite if you want or enjoy on the go.Parking: During lunch hours, the parking lot can become full very quick. And it's a little tight to navigate. Usually you do find a spot but it's not like you pull right into one.“
“What a nice spot. Good fare and great service. The place was hopping on good Friday. I had mahi mahi tacos they were above average. Gluten free options which made me happy.Dietary restrictions: Gf buns for burgers available, and corn tortillas upon request. I wasn't sure about the black bean burger. So I steered clear.“
“Great small down cafe. All of the options (although limited) are great and definitely worth coming back for. Waitresses are relatively attentive, but there is often quite a lot of traffic in and out. There may be a short wait for seating depending on when you arrive.“
“If your last trip to Flavortown was to Vincentown Diner, you would be delightfully surprised at the meal you would receive here. So go ahead and add that to the list. Growing up in Jersey, I feel that Vincentown Diner definitely raves as one of the better local diners that I have been to. I mean, don't take my word for it - you can always look to a much better known and more qualified person than myself, i.e. Guy Fieiri. Not an expert in diner cuisine and experiences by any means, I feel that Vincentown Diner does a great job in keeping with the times - the modernization of their image and menu is apparent. Sure, there is definitely the train of thought that sticking with the basics is the right way of doing things. However, I argue that in an industry and culture where stagnation may result in downfall, Vincentown Diner does a great job at maintaining the basics while exploring menu items that bridges the gap to other tastes and experiences. As such, Vincentown Diner is truly unique. From the moment you arrive, you will find that the Vincentown Diner does not subscribe to the typical brick-and-mortar, 70s/80s diner appearance. The design of the building is incredibly sleek, with clean lines and appearance. It does a great job at catching one's attention as it sits upon the intersection. You may even mistake it as a fine dining venue, until you see the word "diner" on it. There is a neat patio area with rocking chairs, but all the seating is located inside the diner.Upon entering the diner, you will begin to see the transition into the old school diner look as if you are travelling through time in a sense. The diner is clean and well maintained. The bathrooms are a bit small, but this is probably not the reason why you're here. We ate here around noon, and found that the service was great. Literally the entire staff was approachable and incredibly friendly. Our waiter was outstanding and knowledgeable of the menu items; he was on point with taking our orders and delivered accordingly. As mentioned previously, the menu items fused traditional diner items (breakfast, sandwiches, and burgers) and explores a bit of other cultural items. The food was great (I know I'm being vague here, but I assure you that you will be delighted with the portions and flavor in your meal). I'm looking forward to coming back again, and trying out their burgers. If you're working on Fort Dix, whether that be during the weekday or weekend, I challenge you to make the trip out this way to Vincentown Diner. Trust me, the meal will make your day! But really for anyone in New Jersey, I would recommend Vincentown Diner as a State-wide staple.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an ADA compliant ramp that leads to the entrance of the building.“
“Great place! When you walk in, you feel like you're instantly transported into a restaurant in NYC. Atmosphere and decor is on point. The Truffle Mushroom Bruschetta, Fried Cheese Curds and Go-Gho Cauliflower appetizers were amazing! And the Shrimp n' Grits dinner was so good!“
“Tootie’s is a New Egypt icon. We are family here and the staff treats us very well. You’re sure to meet a familiar face there and when you go at night for the fresh and delicious ice cream, you will most certainly see people from all over, lining up the entire sidewalk waiting for the famous treats. We love Tootie’s and are proud to support our local businesses. There isn’t a time when we have never felt like family there. Long live Tootie’s and Tootie’s Ice Cream! (By the way, they’re famous for their Chipwich sandwiches…)“
“So this is a hard review for me, I live very close (currently). Their wings are phenomenal for the price and the kitchen is open till 10pm. I came in at 9:30 after a late night and the wings were just as good. Wings 5 stars, the rest is 3.5 stars. Atmosphere is not for everyone but a good time and the regulars are very nice. Free shuffle board and a few bucks for pool. It is definitely worth trying on a Wednesday or a late Friday or Saturday night as they are open late and know how to party. I’ve come on quiet Sundays and middle of the week, all was well there too. It’s a solid 4 stars overall and that is a brutal review for a place I truly love. **edit** alcohol is relatively cheap. Mixed drinks could use some work but lots of options. I got 8 wings and a miller draft for $9.89 (03/2024)“
“We went early (12:30 pm) for lunch on St. Patrick's Day and the place was just starting to get busy. It was just the two of us and we were seated in the dining area. Their menu was specifically for the theme of the day, irish food. The cornbeef and cabbage was good, but it was missing the carrots and irish soda bread. The service was good, but word of caution, they add an 18% tip to the total, which I thought was tax. I put my credit card in the book and tossed in a 20% cash tip. When she returned with the receipt for signature, thats when I realized the tip was already added and the cash was gone. Their 18% plus my 20% equaled $21.00 tip on on a $48.00 bill. I requested the server return the cash tip, which she did without issue.“
“A nice friendly hometown bar with great food and good drinks I personally don't drink alcohol but the bartender made me this great mocktail that was deliciousVegetarian options: Add a black bean and spinach quesadilla and it was delicious,!“
“Delicious! We were in the 'neighborhood' and stopped in with a bunch of friends to a few drinks and a 'snack'. The service was speedy and the fries and burgers were delicious! We will definitely take a road trip and stop back in - gotta try a 'fat boy' sandwich - they sound yummy!!! Chrissy, Casi and Kalli - you guys were awesome! Thank you for your great service! (if you read the reviews, you will see many of us will be 'traveling' just to stop back as it was so good!)“
“I recently won a gift card at an American Legion fundraiser. #1 community minded. Thank you for supporting our veterans. They also proudly boast a military discount at the Cookstown location across the street from Joint Base.?? They are award winning for a reason. Great ribs ! I was late for sliced brisket ? had to get "chopped " brisket which was like a pulled beef. A little saucey for me but tender. They sell bacon wrapped poppers ?. I do alot of cooking and alot of reviews and this was a great stop and I will recommend them to anyone wanting great BBQ. Great job!“
“We decided to order food from here for our holiday luncheon. We ordered trays of sausage peppers & Onions, with the Penne Pasta & broccoli. We finished it off with a nice apple crumb pie. The staff was helpful, the food was amazing! Very fresh and delicious!~ I recommend this café and we will definitely order again from here. Thank you to your team and compliments to the chef!~“
“Pass this place everyday went in on that reason alone. I got a burger and the bacon chicken ranch cheese steak. The burger was good I cant get down with the pretzel bun it was wet and made the burger hard to eat. The cheese steak overall was the winner my girlfriend and I like it would go back and try the other ones.“
“This place is like going in a time machine back to a 50s ice cream stand. They even play 50s music over the loud speaker. The cones are big, like dairy lightsabers you could use to fight a lactose intolerant Darth Vader. I probably shouldn't eat so much sugar now that I'm over 50, but it's so good.“
“We just did take out for the first time and pizza was very good and I saw they had garlic knot sandwiches on Facebook. I called and he said they were not on menu every day but if I let him know early, he could make it. Well it was 3pm and I said me me two chicken parm sandwiches on huge garlic knots. Did NOT disappoint. So good I would definitely eat here again!!“
“I came here for the first time yesterday. It’s a fun atmosphere with great drinks. I didn’t try the food, next time !Definitely a place to check out! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu! They have some sort of iTunes jukebox you can pick songs you’d like to hear, very unique!“
“I have been coming there for years, they always go above and beyond to help me and the food has been excellent. Sometimes I get a bagel, sometimes a platter, and even next door I get a healthy acai bowl. The staff is friendly and greets me as I am a regular even though I am only in the area a handful of times per year. My kids love the bagels and ask to make a special trip. It's nice to have fresh food options where these chain places have all this food with tons of preservatives. Highly recommend“
“At the Yardville Inn, tucked away in Hamilton, NJ, my son and I embarked on an evening of shared sustenance. The Dirty Martini arrived, its allure beckoning us with the promise of liquid respite. Yet, as the watery concoction graced our lips, disappointment settled upon our palates. It fell short, lacking the depth and character we had yearned for. Undeterred, we continued our gastronomic voyage, placing our hopes in the embrace of the calamari appetizer. With each crispy bite, the sea whispered its secrets into our souls, invoking flavors that mingled with subtle spices. A momentary reprieve amidst the unremarkable, but the true symphony awaited. The Cream of Mushroom soup emerged like a divine revelation, elevating our senses to new heights. Its velvety texture and robust earthiness enthralled our taste buds, leaving us utterly captivated. Phenomenal, it became an anchor of culinary excellence, a shining beacon amidst the sea of mediocrity. And then, the prime rib special beckoned to our carnivorous souls. A mere glimpse at the tender slices, bathed in their own succulent juices, hinted at the journey that awaited. With each forkful, we were transported to a realm of unadulterated pleasure. It was worth every step, every mile traversed to savor the velvety bliss that melted upon our tongues. In an unforeseen twist, it was the baked potato that stole the show. Unassuming in its appearance, its true prowess lay beneath the surface. Seasoned to perfection, each mouthful offered a harmonious dance of flavors. A humble companion that garnered our utmost admiration. Alas, the Tiramisu failed to live up to its promise. An air of disappointment settled upon our expectations as we yearned for the sweet symphony that never quite arrived. Imperfections marred the layers, leaving a bitter aftertaste that lingered in our thoughts. Yet, amidst the ebb and flow of flavors, one beacon shone brightly - Lisa. Her great recommendations and superior service forged a bond that transcended the ordinary. With a genuine warmth and expertise, she embraced our culinary journey, guiding us through the complex tapestry of the Yardville Inn's offerings. Through her touch, any shortcomings were eclipsed, leaving us with a lingering sense of gratitude. As we departed from the Yardville Inn, my son and I reflected on the evening's blend of triumphs and disappointments. In our hearts, the memory of exquisite mushroom soup, sublime prime rib, and an unexpected potato lingers. Yet, above all, it was Lisa's exceptional service that etched itself into our minds--an enduring reminder that in this world, it is the human touch that elevates any experience beyond the realm of taste and into the unforgettable.“
“This is definitely your friendly neighborhood bar/grill. First of all, the service is awesome. Our server was great! She gave awesome recommendations and was very attentive. Even sat down with us a for a few minutes. This place gets busy! But we still were able to get a table pretty quickly. The food was very good that’s as well. They do not skimp on the seasoning which is a good thing! Seems to be a popular place for bikers. I def recommend and will be visiting again soon.“
“Met friends here because it was 1/2 way between them and us! Loved the atmosphere there! There were TVs so we could watch the final four basketball games. Dinner was excellent! There were so so many choices! I got a French dip that was so delicious! We will all be going back there again, hopefully soon!“
“This tiny place doesn't look like much but they make excellent food. Their sushi is always fresh and delicious. Service is friendly and fast and prices are fair. Not to mention their menu which is absolutely massive so you can always find something new to try.“
“This place ALWAYS delivers...I'm SO glad that I discovered it as there's such a limited amount of restaurants to chose from in the area...everything is great...bartenders/ waitresses/waiters and perfect cocktails and delicious food!!!“
“I've been here a few times and they never disappoint. Burgers are the best, as well as other food and the Grolsch on tap hits the spot. Great food, interesting drinks, and the people that fill it make it a spot worth going out of your way for.“
“Several times tried to order over the phone but line sounded busy. Then once I called, someone answered did not speak, I was able to hear them talking and then hung up on me so I called again and line busy. While was on the phone I was on my way to the store and still on the line when I got there I asked if the telephone worked. The elderly lady looked at me for a few seconds and they all laughed and said the phone doesnt work. So I ordered there while noticing restaurant had only one customer. No excuse to say they had their hands full with customers. While waiting the phone rang and they proceeded to answer it. Funny that just 3 minutes before they told me phone was out of service.“
“Being the night before Thanksgiving, it was VERY crowded in the bar area, so I was happy we had reservations! Even so, our server was polite and efficient. Food and drinks were great. Noise level very high, so next year, we'll choose the dining “
“very happy to be here today. solid menu for casual. i got a blackboard special of pasta with crabmeat and vodka sauce. generous with the crab. all in all pretty good. friendly clientele and really a nice layback tone. i go out a lot. ask my credit catds. i go from 4 star to casual pub. this is a repeater. thank you yardville inn.“
“Town and Country Diner is one of our go to places to eat out. They are the typical Jersey diner. Big menu, good food and good prices. You won't get gourmet food or an elegant atmosphere, what you will get is quality diner fare. And that's what I like!“
“We’ve gotten food from here about 4 times this month from DoorDash. ABSOLUTELY the best place to get a cheesesteak in this area! Been consistently good too, which is unique for this area. Def recommend the crab fries with cheese sauce too ^^ if you don’t finish the cheese sauce-pour the remaining on the cheesesteak ?. Thank you to the amazing kitchen staff! :)“
“Kitschy German food restaurant with all the right stuff Keynote you must have a reservation and you must pay cash they do not take credit cards. This is not easily identified on the website or other Google reviews. Overall unique spot with Hardy digs very easy over order but worth a try for sure.“
