“A restaurant operated by an older couple. Extremely good service but very limited seating inside. Takeout is a good option. The hours are not exactly those written on happy cow (opens at 12:30 today for example). The food is really great and full of veggies for a reasonable price. Soup and sauces are offered on the house. The host also offers a clementine ( or a tangerine, not sure) for dessert. Great place to visit if in Newfoundland.“

“Great atmosphere! The decor was calming and fun. Many amazing menu choices. When we were there on a Friday night, it looked like there was only 2 people working but it was a full house of customers. So our food took a long time to come out. However, it was well worth the wait - everything was delicious. The bread is homemade on site and should not be missed!“
“The Chipotle Cheddar bowl is absolutely delicious! my friend recommended the promotion which ended today $4.99 fabulous price! even without the promo the prices are really good and not pricy to add extra toppings. Very pleased with the portions, definitely much better than the bowls at Quesada! will definitely be back to try other items :)“

“Best fish n' chips I've had in on the Avalon Peninsula, honestly. Fish was unbelievably fresh, thick chunks of beautiful flaky cod, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Lady behind the counter was a sweetheart too!“

“My girlfriend and I had the best experience. From the "Joe King" hostess when arriving without reservation, (sorry did not get her name), to our server Grace, it was the best time. The Xmas steak special was divine. Cooked to perfection, and the seafood tasted out of this world. “A great spot in downtown St Johns for great food in a relaxed setting.
Oysters and accompanying sauces were all excellent. A Chablis on the wine menu would be a good pairing option, even if only by the bottle.
Oh, and the cocktails are fantastic!!!
Look forward to visiting again when I get back to St Johns.“

“Pizza Empire is definitely a Pizza place to look into. Been ordering from them since 2013. Great staff and the Delivery drivers are absolutely amazing. Kudos to the Staff for making darn good Pizza and shout out to the Drivers! You guys are fast and always incredibly humble! Keep it up you guys!!“
“Every time we order, we have yet to have a bad experience. The food is always great (although I only ever eat the cheddar chipotle bowl with added jalapeños). Food is always ready when we order through the app and it’s a quick and easy. Also, with the promo bowls, there is always something to order for a reasonable price! Highly recommended.“

“I was there last night for supper thinking they still had the buffet but when we got there they didn't but we decided to stay anyway and I am so glad we did. Hands down the BEST Chinese food I have every had. The service was awesome and friendly. I would recommend you try Full House Restaurant. “Went to St Johns for the Def Leppard concert with some of my family , we went out for breakfast the next morning went the attention on going to another location but they were full so we decided to go to Bernard Stanley Gastropub walked in not a person there but it didn’t take long for the place to fill up, and what a breakfast we all had!! It was the best breakfast I’ve had in St Johns to date!! Highly recommend!! Service was great!! Food was great!! Atmosphere was great!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Noodle Nami is a delightful culinary spot! From the moment you step inside, though less spacious the inviting atmosphere sets the perfect tone for a fantastic meal. The menu offers a fantastic array of noodle dishes, fusion choices, each bursting with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I especially loved the spicy noodle soup—they were perfectly balanced and had just the right kick! One downside is it was a bit salty. The California roll was soaked with oil 😞. Other than that, the staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Whether you’re a noodle aficionado or just looking for a tasty meal, Noodle Nami is a must-visit to try more of their delicious offerings!“

“Our server was lovely and accommodating on a special request. Food came out quickly and tasted freshly prepared. Portion size was good. It was pretty noisy with a few birthdays and the music so I wouldn't go there for a quiet meal or serious occasion but it was fine for a meal with a couple of friends.“

“Overall, we really enjoyed our experience. We had the onion rings and calamari to start. Both were excellent. Both of us had the halibut as our main course. It was a generous portion of fish. The sauce and accompaniments were very tasty. We found the staff very attentive. The other couple we were with seem to really enjoy their food as well with the exception that one of the people ordered the beef tenderloin medium and it was at most medium rare in the centre definitely rare. I would suggest that if you were ordering the beef, you order it no more than medium rare because it is a thick cut.“
