“We had a great experience at Jack Astor’s in St. John’s, but what truly made our visit exceptional was our waitress, Brook.I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever experienced service quite like hers. Brook was incredibly kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She had that rare ability to always seem present and attentive without ever making the service feel rushed or intrusive. She anticipated what we needed, checked in at exactly the right moments, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the entire meal.What stood out most, though, was her warmth. Brook has a presence that makes you feel comfortable and welcome almost immediately. You can tell she genuinely cares about the people she is serving, and that kindness came through in every interaction we had with her. Exceptional service is one thing, but combining that level of professionalism and knowledge with such a genuine, warm personality is something else entirely.The food and atmosphere were great, but Brook is what we will remember most about our experience. She is an incredible representative of Jack Astor’s and deserves to be recognized for the level of service she provides. “This is a great location for anyone who loves A&W. The food is always great. At other locations, I normally find the onion rings and sweet potato fries very soggy, but the cooks here have put out consistently good sides every time, from my experience.

I don't normally get coffee at fast-food stops, but if I do, I like to go for A&W's coffee. It is delicious and cheaper compared to McDonalds and Tim Hortons, which is a plus. I really enjoyed their cold drinks and shakes. They carried an açai shake, but the last few times I have tried to order it they informed me that the machine is down. I am starting to think they are just going to discontinue the drink.

Other than that, it's a nice location with outdoor seating and plenty of space inside. The staff are very nice when serving you and the wait is never long.“

“The gentleman who served me today was named Tyler, i asked his name because when i walked up, he repeated my order to me, and asked very kindly if i wanted my usual, and i was in and out in SECONDS when i say this, i mean, i was touched. I feel special, it made my day that tyler took the time to not on remember my order but so quickly and promptly get it to me, even down to the last details like modifications to what i order, im severely impressed. If you go to this location ask for Tyler. Hes exactly what the pinnacle of a service representative is. Im so so so impressed, if i could give 10 stars each i would. “Wonderful went there this weekend they made their food even better, it was like going back in time to the golden age of fast food. All the new retro old school packaging is nice to see, the whopper is bigger and better than ever tasted great not only is there no shrink flation but they made it even bigger and better tasting. The new fries are delicious golden cooked just right. Their onion rings are huge now and their nuggest are bigger and better tasting than ever it also comes with lots of sauce and free drink refills. Very nice the people working were really friendly. I had a great time and look forward to my next visit I also like the plushy booths. “Well what an amazing experience. After me and my client attended the Vera perlin fundraiser. We decided to get some MDs. There was an amazing and wonderful older lady who brought our food down to the table. This woman made us feel so welcome and cared for. She even asked once we got our food if we needed any ketchup or anything and when we said yes she proceeded to say she be back with some. She was so friendly and talked to everyone, really made the whole experience amazing. Definitely not something I expect from a fast food restaurant.“
