“I had the cod sandwich last week with sweet potato fries. Both were GREAT 👍🏻 I was very pleasantly surprised. The service was great as well, everything was so clean and orderly. I look forward to coming back again for lunch, what a great place to eat.“

“I was starving on a parts run, the Chicken quality is high but I've never tried a Breakfast Burrito from Stripes, it was a little on the pricey side but I couldn't argue with the quality of the meal, after the final bite, I was a little sad the experience was over so soon, definitely considering Stripes as a quick Breakfast option in the future.“

This particular establishment was quite good, food was good, service was good, there were some odd bystanders around the restaurant on the outside and one on the inside that did not seem like customers. “Today was my first time trying Stripes, and I have to say—it definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered their famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, and it was incredible—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

At first, my soda was a bit flat and missing that carbonation kick, but before I could even mention it, the server noticed and brought me a fresh Coke right away. That kind of attentiveness really stood out.

Overall, Stripes impressed me with great food and great service. Highly recommend checking this place out!“

“Classic, local, hole in the wall spot with great food. The Indian taco was very good, especially the fry bread. Not a conventional taco, it's designed to eat with a fork and knife. My only ding against the restaurant was I felt like I was in an old Taco Bell building from 30 years ago and the tables were wobbly. They have a Space Available sign on the front of the building and no open sign, so we almost skipped it.“

“The taste of the food is subjective for everyone. All I can say is our food tasted great.! It was the rock star that provided excellent customer service that made this a 5-star review for me. He went out of his way to take care of us as the only customers dining in while taking care of a busy drive-through. I didn't get his name, but he made us feel like we've known him forever. 6/20/2025“

“Our family stopped in for a quick bite on a visit to see our son at unm. I haven't been to twisters in 15 years. The store is clean and well-staffed and the service was slow but attentive. We visited several weeks ago and I tried a burrito that was one of their specials Sabrina was excellent with carne asada chopped green chili and potatoes.“
