“The food and drinks were AMAZING!! We went here for our 30th anniversary. I had the Bison Tender Loin which was flavored and cooked to perfection and the carrot puree and broccolini were perfect compliments. The wife had King Salmon and it too was seasoned and cooked to perfection. We started with the Jumbo lump crab cake and was leery about the pimento cheese but after trying it it too as excellent! Wish I knew the Maitre D name but he was very accommodating and helpful. P.S. Make reservations for the dining room even on a Monday!!! The ambiance was phenomenal dining with the apple trees made for a perfect anniversary dinner. If ever in Taos this is a must on your bucket list and I know we will be back.“

“Staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the menu. The green chile cheese burger was delicious as was the black bean vegetarian burger my friend got. The waffle fries were tasty and a nice treat. We were looking for a nice dessert of ice cream and were delighted to order their homemade apple pie a la mode. “Fresh flowers. Gluten-free options. Don’t be afraid of the line. They work quickly. They make their own bone broth. Fresh salads. Amazing gluten free bread and sourdough. They even have a blue corn bread. Salads, sandwiches, soups and bowls. A nice break from all the cheese I have been eating ay other places;). Fresh. Delicious. We went two times while in Taos. “Big mistake for a big group! We were told it would be a wait and menus state $1 charge for split tickets. We had 15 people and after eating the server told us they could not split the ticket for groups this large (a secret rule). Knowledge of this would have been useful prior to seating. French toast and all food was amazing. Service, less so. I wish Michael’s was open.“

“We heard about the Love Apple while planning for our trip to Taos and decided to make sure to include it as a required stop. This place is a must stop if you visit Taos! “I had a small house salad. It was huge! and so good. The greens were fresh, crisp, and not bitter. The wings were perfect. The seasoning was outstanding. Not so overwhelming to hide the taste of the chicken. Five stars!“

“I really didn't think we could find good sushi in Taos. We are sushi snobs and won't eat anything just because it's rolled up in rice. The fish was very fresh when we ate. The owner took a round of all of the tables and was very friendly. Service was great. 100% recommend.“

“An establishment ran by two female servers who identify themselves as management. On Sunday evening September 4th. Issue: Their printer stopped working! We asked where was our food. We were not happy. Would you be? We were told, we could refuse you service and kick you out or refund your money back! We chose to have our monies refunded. They chose to serve us! I hope like my sister said, if your parents dine at an establishment somewhere they do not get treated like crap like we did! Will not ever step a foot back at that establishment. Word of mouth travels when you are a local!“

“An off night for 192. They apparently were short of staff; we were seated at our favorite table promptly but no one had been assigned to that table. We waited 15 minutes before someone finally took notice that we were being ignored. The menu was not as robust and enticing as last summer, and for desert the only offerings were scoops of vanilla gelato or sorbet. Perhaps management was waiting to introduce the new summer menu beginning with the long July 4 holiday, but last night's experience was several notches below what we had become accustomed to last summer and winter.“
