“My wife and I LOVE El Nopal, we were so sad when they closed their restaurant but super happy to hear they were back in Carlsbad with a food truck! Wife loves the Flautas as for me the Quesabirria tacos and the COMSOME are so good but let me tell you the secret gem this place has... it's the Green Chile Double Cheeseburger! So whether you want Mexican or a good Cheeseburger, El Nopal is the place!“

“I love the food but I wish they put their actual hours. I've gone 3 times in the middle of the day and they've been closed every single time, online it says 5am-7pm, this is not true, they close at 2pm. Unfortunately for me I didn't know this and their hours in real life are in Spanish and the hours on Google are incorrect. Would love to eat here more often it sucks theyre closed that early.“
“It's a beat up looking food truck with parking in front and a couple of picnic tables to sit and eat. The proprietor is very nice. She cooks everything fresh. Very tasty food...we had the tacos, but they have a wide variety of legit Mexican food.. If you eat at dinner time, expect to wait a bit for your food as lots of people call in and pick up. Quite a popular place. Note: There are two food trucks on the lot, Maria's is the one on the right when looking from the street.“

“The best Mexican food I have ever tasted in my life and I’m not being dramatic😆 my husband and I could not stop talking about it! And the service was amaaaazing!! Definitely coming back when we are in town for work.“
