“This place is an excellent option to grab a bite to eat. I ordered tuna salad sandwich on rye and a piece of carrot cake. fantastic!
Our server, Emilio, was so kind and helpful. He defines what a good server is.
We also got to meet the chef, who is equally nice and makes some great food.
Definitely worth a stop!“

“Found this little gem while traveling through town. We tried the donuts and I had the avocado turkey sandwich on wheat. Everything was delicious, but the sandwich was especially good! 😋 Definitely worth a stop. The staff was amazing 🤩“

food was pretty good, service was excellent- didnt grab waiters name, but kept drinks filled, asked if anything was needed, very attentive not only to us- but others as well(was working the south end). atmosphere was good as well, lots of table open as well“

“Everything was great about this place. Inside was decorated nicely. The burgers were delicious and chili cheese fries are a must have. The best part was the great staff. All were very pleasant and always checking on us and worked as a team. You tip when you order but once you receive their great service you will feel the need to tip again before you leave. Please take the extra 5 minutes to get of the freeway and stop here.“

“Picked up big fry breads & roasted green chile to go when we were traveling thru on 40- they offer free honey & hot broth to go with the fry bread if wanted- little unpretentious place off the main route but well worth it for authentic fry bread!“

“Wow! It’s rare that you can find a spot such as Avalon, being my first time here I was hesitant. As the saying goes, never judge a book by its cover rings true here.Having a simple menu that don’t have you stress trying to figure out what to get (being an indecisive person this awesome), the fast service made the visit even more great. My parents usually don’t like eating out in Gallup due to vendors coming every minute as your mouth has food in your mouth, Avalon’s no vendor policy allowed for a more private and eased meal.“
