“Had the mushroom melt, was a little messy but very good. Husband had the turkey bacon wrap, he said it was very good and flavorful. The salsa they have for the chips is made fresh with just the right level of heat. Will be coming back for future lunch's.“

They ship their Corn and Flour Tortillas, which is good for me because I'm in Colorado. I was lucky to have had their Corn Tortillas at a restaurant in Truth or Consequences, NM (El Faro), and then saw them in a local Grocery in town (Bullocks). We forgot to buy some before we skipped town. Now, I'm counting my lucky stars that these fine people have agreed to ship some of those awesome Corn Tortillas, relieving any worries I had about driving all the way down to Southern New Mexico to get my fix. “This is a wonderful family restaurant.Serving new mexico style food.I had the meat stuffed sopapillia .It was absolutely delicious.This place was packed.I think next time I will go about one in the afternoon.I couldn't believe how fast they got the food out.My waitress Was as friendly and professional as one could be.I didn't catch your name.I was at table eighteen.They close at three pm so make sure you get there before.I highly recommend this place.Everything looked fantastic.Vegetarian options: You can have any dish with just being in cheese.“

“I love this place. It has the best New Mexican food I have found. This is nothing like the Mexican food you get in California. Everything is so perfect here. I like to just pick things up, but there's a lovely place to sit under the trees and have a nice lunch or a snack. “Got the house special and it is a great way to try a little bit of everything. Red chile sauce is delicious and represents NM fare very well. The hidden gem is the carnitas. Order them crispy and you won't go wrong. Service is fast and friendly which is always a plus. Seems like they know the locals well and treat out of town visitors nicely.“

“I've eaten at La Mexicana for years, when it was in Silver City and, now, Bayard. I've never been disappointed. The owner and his wife are great people, dedicated to good food, good service and offering a wonderful dining experience.“

“This is a great little food truck. I love their Chile relleno burro They wrap the chile in a fried egg instead of dredging it in a deep fried flour mixture. The Green chile also has just enough heat, which is important in the overall flavor of the chile. The flour tortilla is amazing guessing is actually made with lard, which is a much better alternative than a plant seed oil! And the prices are very resonable“

“We ordered the plain Huevos Rancheros with red chile..... OMG...it was so good! $10 plate with potatoes and refried beans. It was the perfect breakfast! You can get either mild or hot Chile......we ordered hot. It was so good, I really think this is the best breakfast Huevos Rancheros in town! I know food is subjective, but we cleaned our plates! PLUS excellent value...we each had a Huevos Rancheros, and I had iced tea... with tax it cost $26!“
