“Discovered this little jewel. We discovered a great table near the fire. It was raining and cold. Which was perfect. This place has an incredible fun atmosphere and vibe. The staff is amazing , friendly and helpful. We had a wide variety of food. We had John Wayne sandwiches, Frito bowls, burritos. The food was good, just lacked flavor/ spice. Chips and Salsa were amazing. Good food, great atmosphere.“

“Our server, Benjamin was new to his position but went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bartenders were so great, taking care of an elderly gentleman who left his card at the bar. The bartender also made sure the lighting was corrected when someone made an error as it became dark outside. We will definitely come back to this location!“

“This lovely little restaurant has existed for decades for a very good reason. Their food is simply divine! I have been coming here ever since I was a young pup, and have made some good memories here over a wonderful meal. The atmosphere is cozy and quaint, like any good little dive joint you might come across on your journeys.

The menu is varied and offers a little bit of everything: New Mexican, American and more. It's hard to pick a favorite dish for me. One dish that stood out in particular for me was the Mexican Polish Sausage entrée, which I highly recommend.

“We went for our first time and had a great experience. I ordered the combination plate with red cheese enchilada, crispy beef taco, chile relleno and sopaipilla. My wife had the sopaipilla with egg and chorizo. Kids had pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Everything was so delicious. I even learned that everything is homemade they make homemade sopapillas corn and flour tortillas even the crispy taco shell that looks store-bought was actually homemade. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“Stopped in because I heard I about the place on a food page. The post said they had some of the best chicharrones and it couldn’t have been more accurate. We walked in to place our order, and while we were waiting we were offered a chicharron to try. Me and my girlfriend ordered some and decided to dine in for breakfast. I had the Pork Chile verde and she got the Carnitas, both were just as expected and hit the spot. The atmosphere was so welcoming and nostalgic. I felt like I was inside of my abuelitas house watching old westerns and eating fresh tortillas. 10/10 recommended and will be a returning customer!“

My companion had enchiladas and highly recommended both the tamales and carne adovada. Although it is take out only, there are a couple of tables out front with shade.“

“My family made a reservation for 10 people at another restaurant. When we arrived they had no record of a reservation and said there would be a 60 minute wait. I called Casa de Benavidez to see if they could fit us in. They agreed and had a table ready when we arrived, 10 minutes later. The food and service were outstanding! I highly recommend for any event or family get together. This will be our new go to spot for mexican food! 👌“

“This Weck's location near Cottonwood Mall has very friendly and family friendly atmosphere, very clean, and easy access. Food came out hot, fast, and good. Our server, Dominic was awesome. I am going to tell you a true story about him. I knew Dominic when he was a cashier at the Weck's off of Paseo next to the church I attended. I would go there every Sunday before church. Dominic was very attentive, and he even smiled. He took our drink order and immediately was back with them. He took our order and answered all of our questions, he even asked one of our members if he wanted Christmas chile because he couldn't decide if he wanted red or green. He delivered out food right away and was hot. He was back again in no time with additional chile because he saw we didn't have enough. He continuedly check on us for drinks and asked up if our food was right. Good job Dominic.“
