“My mom and I found this jewel while traveling through Roswell. Great central location with plenty of public parking across the street. This restaurant has a very welcoming hometown atmosphere. Our waitress was very kind and answered all our questions. The star of the show was the amazing fajitas!! I dare say these are some of the best I have ever had. The flavor was out of this world! My mom is a pretty picky eater but she ate every bite of her stuffed sopaipilla. The chips and salsa were delicious as well. We will definitely be back the next time we travel to Roswell.“

“The atmosphere here is fantastic. We walked in late after a long day traveling and were greeted by live music and pleasant staff. We also loved the beef wellington bites and all of the Pecos red blend wines. Stop in for a drink or a bite and you won't be disappointed!“

“Amazing food and the staff was wonderful. We came for a week vacation through New Mexico and Popo’s was hands down the best food we had for our trip. The staff was so friendly, the food was perfect. Best salsa and green chile. Truly appreciated the Granddaughter taking the time to tell us her Grandfather owned the place and how the family worked there together. Thank you for a great experience and the best Mexican Food for our family vacation. (Also super budget friendly pricing! Amazing prices really!!)“

“I had the Super Big Breakfast Burrito with ham and green chillies. I like sloppy burritos, but I like clean looking ones even more. When I opened this one, the eggs looked so good and clean, and the other items in it were very fresh. It was not greasy at all. I added the roasted salsa and the green salsa to it and it was soooo gooood!!! My friend got hers with asada meat and she keeps talking about how great her burrito was, too.“

“Thank you Karen & team for an amazing day today to celebrate our Dad's 90th birthday. We loved the private dining area, the amazing food, the friendly & warm staff and our special waiter, George. Our guests were in awe. We highly recommend CBD for such functions; they do not charge venue- or corkage fee and it is thus highly affordable and good value for money.“

“Server was very polite but seemed to be the only server, she asked her manager, Chris for help to which he walked away with her following him saying she needed help. She was overwhelmed but very polite and professional. A blonde girl came out with a cart and started cleaning tables and helping the girl, the manager came out of the back with another cart and saw the girl cleaning tables and asked our server why she was on the floor, the manager went to the girl and told her something and she walked away to the other side of the restaurant. I'm not sure why our server had to ask another girl, (whom I'm pretty sure worked at a restaurant because she was cleaning the tables like she knew what she was doing) instead of the manager just helping her instead of going to the back and not helping her“

“I came in early asking for Shrimp Cocktail. I was not disappointed. The dish was a cool, refreshing mix of shrimp, avocado cucumber, jalapeno, cilantro, spices and tomato juice. Lime, pico de gayo, and onion were served on the side. No carbs, No suger. This was perfect for a hot day.
The young ladies that helped me were kind and patient.“

“We just left Applebees Restaurant in Roswell NM it’s Saturday Oct 3,2025 3:30pm . I got to brag on the best customer service I’ve had in a long time anywhere in town our waitress “ALE” was perfect, attentive, friendly, polite. Also a Mgr named “MIKE “ was just as professional, friendly, attentive.
