This is a mixed review. Jospeh is a formidable chef, but the restaurant itself is run down, chairs uncomfortable, noise level excessive and service sketchy. Some of our food (Duck confit pad thai and mixed mushrooms) was excellent, but the watermelon gazpacho was way too heavy on the garlic, and my husband couldn't eat it. This place is a must try for foodies. While my server didn't provide the level of wam hospitality that I'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber, he was quite attentive through my meal. I would be remiss if I did not say that the busboy and busgirl bringing out my plates were superb and much friendlier than the server.
