Silver Moon Cafe offers a unique blend of Mexican and American cuisine. Diners can enjoy a variety of dishes, including the popular Chicken Chingon Tacos and Vegan Aztec Salad with guacamole. Many customers have praised the amazing tamales, especially when served with green chili sauce. The order comes with two tamales covered in sauce, a side of pinto beans, and hominy corn in red sauce, making it a must-try dish. The restaurant also serves breakfast and has a gift shop with handcrafted items. The service is generally attentive and quick, though some customers have noted that the staff could be friendlier. Silver Moon Cafe is located right off I-40, exit 277, making it a great stop for travelers. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a cozy meal on a cold night. While the restaurant can get busy, many diners appreciate the large portions and quality of the food, especially the Chile Rellenos and loaded nachos. However, some guests have experienced a long wait and less accommodating management. Overall, it remains a popular spot for locals and travelers alike.
