“The place is about you would expect for a small town, ita sorta a hole in the wall and dingy but there was plenty of seating and the food was good, the woman taking our order was super nice. I ordered the red stuffed sopapilla and it was crunchy and filled with plenty of meat, I was actually pretty happy with the way they make their stuffed sopapilla and could definitely see my self eating their on the weekends for breakfast or lunch with their menu. It was not at all on the expensive side and worth the stop. I definitely recommend you give it a try if you're in the area and wanting New Mexican food.“
“Stopped here after going to Elephant Butte, the food was hot and delicious, good price for how much food you get. Even their drinks were refreshing. Even though their was a language barrier the lady understood and we enjoyed our food. I would recommend, me and my family will be back.“

“Good NM food, waitresses are very friendly and the food is always as you expect it to be. Inexpensive and pretty speedy service. Gets busy some days so you might wait a bit, but normally is pretty fast.“

“Today I worked in Socorro and attended a business lunch, the food was catered from La Pasadita and I have to say-the red chile on my meat empanada was VERY delicious! Very flavorful and full of just the right amount of heat 🔥🌶, also I have never eaten a meat empanada. It had a good amount of meat and potato filling. I’ll definitely stop by the restaurant when I pass through again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Had fish tacos at the Socorro restaurant and they were surprisingly good— mentor flaky fish that wasn’t over battered, and the didn’t skimp on the pico or crema. Will definitely be back“

“So, this place has always intrigued me. Stopped there the first time years ago for dinner while on a road trip late at night. Used to be open 24 hours. The bar is my favorite. I'd suggest you bring a designated driver or get a room next door and enjoy more than 1 adult beverage with your meal. This is a beautiful trip back in time and worth the stop. You'll be glad you did it.“

“Well for one the chorizo, egg and hash brown breakfast burrito is massive and was really really good. I added the green chili to it and it was phenomenal. By far one of the best breakfast burritos I have had in a really long time. The workers are very very nice and seem to have a lot of regulars that come in for breakfast as everyone is on a first name basis with everyone. Nice little truck stop looks like it can fit a lot of trucks it was dark when I arrived so couldn’t really see and it’s not well lit outside but trucker path does say 70 spots and the parking lot is big enough to set yourself up for a straight line back. If you pass this way definitely stop and grab a burrito you won’t be disappointed. It appears they sell the green and red chili also so I think I’m going pick up some of that green chili. Apparently they said the green is the hottest but I didn’t find it to be really hot had the right amount of heat to it.“
