“What a charming, relaxing, gem of a coffee shop. We were visiting Truth or Consequences for a week and stumbled upon this place. We ordered our coffee and tea and then relaxed in a cozy spot; we chose window seating with comfy chairs with an accompaniment of many interesting books.
The owner makes a great cup of coffee, pour over, and offers a nice selection of tea. Happily he had nondairy options for vegan folks. It was a most relaxing way to start our day.“

“Black Cat has shrunk and there are fewer books to browse and tables to sit at. However, its revival is still a great joy and a welcome resource. We’re so lucky to have it back! The dark roast is good, there are a variety of treats, and the new proprietors are friendly and open to suggestions. I like being able to see out the windows more, with the book display shelves removed. It’s lighter, and there are some very nice houseplants in the window. I’d like to have fresh rather than packaged pastries, but this is a start-up and it takes time to make it all work.“

“Wonderful coffee shop and breakfast spot, huge coffee menu and really well-made breakfast items. Owners also run the grateful grill down the road which has really excellent food. There is a drive-through, you can order at the window. Service is top-notch.“

Also serving light breakfast. Cereal, oatmeal (try the oatmeal latte), fruit parfait, muffins and more. Enter through Sierra Vista Hospital new lobby entrance!“

“It's a McDonald's. I ordered iced coffee that was confusing. I ordered a hot coffee. Drank part, then put ice in it. General experience was fast food in the last several years.. employees have less than a grade school education. So don't hit them with anything complicated beyond what you would assume a second or third grader can do.“
