“Having just moved to Las Cruces, was looking for new places to try. Stumbled across Cafe de Mesilla, and was not disappointed. A very quaint and charming little restaurant with one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! I could live off the country potatoes alone! Perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!“

“Pleased to see how much this place has improved over the years, and it's impressive to see they were able to stay afloat after COVID, although it's no surprise after tasting their freshly roasted coffee. I decided to give Milagros a try after a long hiatus thanks to a date who invited me and swore by their coffee. I was happy to find they kept the same funky decor that feels like you've stepped back into the early 2000s, and the nice roaster was a great addition--the flavor of the espresso is so fresh and rich and actually fairly priced; great news for the nearby students (I remember the struggle). As for their food selection, they have lots to choose from, which staff claims to be freshly made and home made. My only feedback would be to please stock up on the burritos! They sell out too fast! Kudos to management and the team on the improvements.

Original review 2014: Here's what it comes down to for me: The coffee is pretty good, although a bit overpriced on many drinks; the staff is very slow, rude and very unprofessional (every encounter I've had, particularly with one mentioned in another review on here, had been an awful one); finally, the store hours are completely wrong. I've called or stopped by at 9pm (when 10pm is closing time) and everything was shut down!

This place has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, due to a lack of management, quality service and conducting business in a professional manner, this customer is not only unimpressed but moreover very disappointed. I don't need to go to a coffee shop that makes me feel unimportant and only cares about my money. I'll save my money for a better coffee shop around town.“

“We were in town from 100 miles away for a dr appt. One of the techs at the facility highly recommended this place…His sister owns it! Everything he said about it is true. Food is great, people kind and accommodating, atmosphere is upbeat and comfortable. The portions were l large which provided lunch for us the next day! The only negative point I would make is that the bathroom door needs work. Great experience overall. Will recommend and return.“

“Done with speedway after 25 faithfull years. I always looked the other way on the fuel prices being a few cents higher for the convenience and reward system but now that they have made it so that you cannot refill a gas card after 7:00 p.m. and you cannot use a gas card to pay at the pump there's absolutely no reason to continue paying extra prices on gas and merchandise. I knew when they were purchased by 7-Eleven that it would go downhill fast and it has I buy $500 gas cards per week to fuel up at pump multiple vehicles and work nights I can no longer refill my cards and my family cannot use the card to pay at the pump avoiding risking being skimmed with a credit card at the pump. they say it's because of fraud on gift cards but if an employee is not behind the fraud then how is their fraud how is refilling a gift card before 7:00 any less fraudulent then after 7:00 how is me coming in to pay with my kid card any more of a chance of being fraudulent than not an employee cannot tell if it was fraudulently filled inside anymore than they can outside goodbye Speedway“
