“This McDonald's is amazing. I always stop by if I am on I-40 heading east or west. Back in 1974, or 1975, I stopped here for 2 fillet of fish and a large coke. I was shocked at whatever the secret sauce was and how incredibly good it was.

I've also stopped here just to go to the bathroom, but nobody seemed to care. Their Big Macs and Quarter Pounders with Cheese are also mind blowing delicious. Tucumcari also has a BIG mesa or whatever that thing is called. It is so big, you can't miss it. It's a great city to pass through! Note... the next town up is Santa Rosa and it is a bit of a drive. Going east is Amarillo.“

“We went through on Dec 15th a little before 7 am. We have been traveling pretty much non-stop for 3 days and are exhausted. We stopped there - had great service. Was also impressed with the food prep. My husband's toaster sandwich wasnt soggy or messy. My burrito was wrapped well and had plenty of sausage and egg.
