Consistantly good here. Combo comes with an egg roll as well. I always order an extra so I get two meals. My son however, usually finishes his😆.
Chicken fried rice, egg roll, beef and broccoli, chicken balls, the combo is under 17$

Thanks to the entire Canteen family - and I say FAMILY purposefully as you feel the family atmosphere as soon as you arrive - for hosting our team for dinner last week. We booked out the whole restaurant and they did just what we hoped for: Maritime hospitality, wonderful, genuine service and knock-your-socks off food. The team from across Canada went bananas over the Crobster sandwich. The special welcome from the owners was a lovely touch. The guests raved all the way back across the harbour on the ferry about the wonderful meal from start to finish. It’s a lovely space that is not pretentious and puts an emphasis on fantastic food and exemplary service, with a genuine smile. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Restaurant was clean, atmosphere and staff were very inviting. There was pitchers of water with 4 glassed at each table. Both my partner and I ordered the same sides, butter chicken and saffron rice with pop. It was absolutely amazing.... so much so we ordered 2 extra sides of rice to take home with the remaining butter chicken. Highly recommend! We will be in again to try out some other items.”

“Well worth a trip across the bridge! I rarely go to Dartmouth, but had an appointment this aft. Walking back to my car, I noticed this cute spot, Portland Street Creperie and decided to check it out. So glad I did! I’ll definitely be back. The owner and his staff member of many years greeted me with a warm welcome and good suggestions. It was a bonus to discover Neil shares a love of Kraftwerk! I’m so jealous that he will be seeing them for the third time 🤦‍♀️. Oh, and the crepes - fabulous! Definitely recommended!”

“The food!!!! We had the Let the chef cook for you! Best value and most delicious meal you will ever have! Having the chef come out with the waiter to explain what was in each dish / course was also fun. They took extra care because of allergies too! And of course get a fancy cocktail, you won’t regret it 😉”

“Oh my God — where do I even start! Everything about this place is phenomenal. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with the warmest smile and such elegant gestures. The ambiance is so unique and inviting.We went for breakfast and it was an absolute delight! The banana bread was heavenly — the aroma and taste were just perfect. We tried the Egg Benny and the Beef Naan Wrap, and both were incredibly delicious. To top it all off, he even offered us a gut health drink after the meal — such a thoughtful touch!
Our hearts and stomachs were full. It’s truly overwhelming how amazing this place is. A must-try spot — we’re definitely coming back! ❤️”

“Was there for a late lunch. Very spacious, clean and great atmosphere. Our server Emily was very friendly and enthusiastic. Ordered taquitos (excellent flavour and lots of filling. Then I had the chicken fajitas which were huge and very fresh tasting. Emily talked me into trying the Churro bites for dessert. They are stellar all around pleased with my experience. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ !! The Prospect Road location is going to be such a well loved location - so much so that, I don’t think the staff realized how much of the community would flock there. They’re BUSY, and out of ingredients, but the staff there were HUSTLING around, smiling and getting orders out that they could. I expect delays at the beginning. They never expected so much traffic, give them patience folks and expect a mess up in your order possibly or wait until they are fully loaded and in the flow with the area. Otherwise incredible sub (despite picking off a couple things I didn’t ask for), the bread was amazing, still 10/10 would go back, and didn’t even care it was chaotic. Inside though although small, its essentially a novelty convenience store with local goodies. They have a little bakery section with homemade stuff, the moon mist fudge was incredible and a must try! They also had a bunch of “Jones Soda” flavours that I’ve never seen before anywhere around here - even at the big candy stores, (like s’mores and the fallout edition one) which was pretty cool!! They still have ice cream and everything that was at multi scoop - just with a lot more options and delicious fresh options to go. Something for ANYONE at a really reasonable price. Prospect needed this so much - thank you, and good luck with your continued success! 🎉♥️”

“Sushi is so fresh and delicious. As tea is hand-made by the owner, it tastes savory. Takoyaki is crunchy and soft inside. Shrimp tempura is also crunchy and great. I will come here again.”
