“Had a delicious meal tonight at the Larry Uteck location with my family. Portions were very large and great taste. But what made our night is the incredible server we had who was both witty, charming, funny while also very professional. He made my parents and grandmother all smile and laugh which was really appreciated. It is excellent service and quality staff which make a resteraunt not just the food and clearly Morris East knows this.“

We booked out the whole restaurant and they did just what we hoped for: Maritime hospitality, wonderful, genuine service and knock-your-socks off food. The team from across Canada went bananas over the Crobster sandwich. The special welcome from the owners was a lovely touch. The guests raved all the way back across the harbour on the ferry about the wonderful meal from start to finish. Cocktails are amazing, with unique, refined flavours. You will not be disappointed! It can get noisy, due to the folks who flock there for Sunday brunch, so a little extra sound-proofing might be nice, but it's great to see this a gem of a restaurant receive such a vibrant clientele!“

Reta's is a delightful spot where every dish bursts with flavor and the service is always warm and welcoming. From the first bite to the last, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. It's a quiet, cozy place that lets you truly enjoy your meal and the company you're with. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing dining experience with amazing food!

I wish the plating of the duck dish would be a bit different. We couldn't enjoy the sauce much without ordering the sourdough bread. Also if spoons were provided without asking as the sauces go to waste and we cannot enjoy them with the fork so the amazing sauces are wasted.“

A bit pricey (but we had the most expensive item on the menu), I also dont mind paying for quality food and service. Most places are expensive and they do not deliver excellence. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious our meal was.

Portion sizes arent huge, which we appreciated as it left us feeling full but not like we were over stuff or being wasteful.

For dinner we had the NY striploin steak (4oz as we wanted dessert) with a red wine reduction sauce. Well.... Let me tell you, best steak ever! Vegetables and potatoes were cooked to perfection, plus the steaks came topped with garlic butter and huge portion of onions and mushrooms on the side made in the same garlic butter! The Keg used to be good, and we've been so disappointed the past few years, that were thrilled to find a place that can create a delicious meal for a fair price (comparative to other restaurants)

For dessert we each had a big piece of coconut cream pie, which was unbelievable.

Spent $170 overall with tax and tip included. Considering we eat out a couple times a year, this was very fair considering what we received.

The next morning we each had Eggs Benedict, which was also great!
