“We recently ordered cupcakes with Delectable Desserts for a very special occasion. They were absolutely perfect! Right after opening up the box, we were totally impressed with the beautiful presentation. These cupcakes were just incredibly decorated. Each one of them was like a small piece of art. We had a sampling of a number of flavors, all of which were successes. The cakes were incredibly moist and light, sweet but not too sweet. The frosting was very smooth and creamy, full of flavor, not too sweet, and complemented the cake. Delectable Desserts really made our occasion special. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really showed in every single bite. The service was great. The hospitality of the staff, warm and accommodating, showed in their passion for the job. They made sure everything was perfect with our ordered dish and delivered it on time, hence making the experience seamless and a joyful one. In short, we could not be more pleased with our Delectable Desserts cupcakes. They were truly the star dessert of the show at our special party, and our friends and family just loved them. “Been reading comments . I’ve been buying Antoinette’s cheesecakes for years . I remember when she first started out in Dartmouth. I have to say, whenever there’s been a misunderstanding with my order, Antoinette has always gone above and beyond to treat me fairly And make things right. While there have been a few employees with a bit of a problem communicating with customers , Antoinette and her son , in my opinion, makes every effort to serve their customers . There will always be misunderstandings and people will always find reasons to complain but you can’t loose sight of the fact that Antoinette stands by her product and is very committed to providing value to her customers and has been known to truly service the product she sells. I’ve eaten cheesecake in every province in Canada and a lot places around the world and her cheesecake stands above anything I’ve ever eaten . We are lucky to have her stores !“

The almond Croissant is great too, still quite big and full of flavor.

Weekly species are fun. I last had the 'everything bagel' croissant, which has a herb & garlic cream cheese filling, with everything seasoning on the outside.

Friendly staff.

Like popping in to grab a bag of beans to take home, but street parking can be hard to find much of the time. There are only a handful of tables and it can be hard to get one on weekend mornings.

I wish they opened earlier on weekdays because 8am is too late for me to swing by on my way to work.“

“We tried Bagirls for the first time and they are soooo good! Blueberry, chocolate chip, and banana! Blueberry is always a hit with my family, but I was really surprised by the banana. Wasn’t sure what they would be like but I think they are my new favorite. Just the perfect amount of sweet banana flavour. Highly recommend!“

Unlike the cranky customer ahead of me who showed off his 2 star review in front of staff members, because he didn’t order ahead for a box of buns on a busy weekend shopping day!“

“The atmosphere has changed a lot at Tim's not just the one location they have most all gone downhill The ones main st. cole harbour area especially.... Most of staff are friendly but I tend to find some of the new ones to be condescending feeling.. depending on the day.. Which is why I only visit one location now. Not impressed“
