“Came in then evening of Feb 15th for a vanilla Chai latte and oreo flurry (order 291) and I was so happy with how the front counter staff went above and beyond to ensure my order was made correctly to my liking. It was very clean inside for a sit down experience as well, I would definitely make this location a favorite.“
“The restaurant it's self is nothing out of the ordinary, this review is solely for the young individual working while we were in for supper today, they didn't look much older than 15. They were so unbelievably pleasant and helpful and you could tell they really enjoy their role there, they just seemed happy to be part of the team. I hope they leave every shift feeling appreciated, I wish I got their name before they left and told them how great they were but I'm hoping this review reaches them and and they feel it all still!“
“Really great employee’s came here on August 11th at 10 pm and accidentally forgot to add cheese to my order. The cashier and other employees did not make me feel like an idiot at all for interrupting their work flow and needing to fix my already made order 😓. Would absolutely choose this as my main spot opposed to any other Dartmouth don’s.
Thanks again guys for being so accommodating even though I was the forgetful one. ☝🏽
I’m actually editing this to say they did forget my sauces for the nuggets which big time sucks but whatever. Basically makes us even for forgetting to ask for cheese.“
“Good to get a simple burger and refreshments. Don't expect anything fancy. Sometimes can be sticky due to lack of cleaning but, good usually. Can also be crowded on rush hours and staff could be overstressed - blame managers and company for exploiting employees. Overall, good for a quick stop.“
“The Great Shrinking Playplace Paradox... Walking into the McDonald’s on Main Street used to feel like arriving at a fast-food cathedral — long rows of tables, the reassuring hum of fryers, and a sea of booths ready to host birthday parties, first dates, and existential crises fueled by large fries.
Today? It feels like the designers thought: “What if we make it cozy… but also disappointing?”
🪑 Seating: A Vanishing Act
This place used to have seating for the masses.
Now it has enough chairs for maybe one extended family reunion… on a rainy day… that no one showed up to.
You walk in and think: “Is this a McDonald’s or the lost waiting room of a small airport in Siberia?”
Seriously — where did all the seats go?
🎈 Playplace Still There, But…
Yes — the Playplace still exists.
The slide still spirals. The jungle gym still squeaks.
Kids still run around like little caffeinated hamsters.
But with seating so limited, parents are forced to:
- Stand awkwardly by the condiment station
- Hover over children like emotional support drones
- Or sit outside and hope their iced coffee lasts that long
It’s strangely modern and aggressively inconvenient.
📦 Where Did All the Space Go?
The real mystery here isn’t the chicken nuggets. It’s the missing square footage. You walk in and see a giant counter area that seems bigger than some of the booths used to be
At this point, I’m convinced one of three things is happening:
- Secret corporate bunker - Where executives sit and ponder the emotional lives of McFlurries.
- Storage for ancient McDonald’s promotional memorabilia - Like a shrine to discontinued Szechuan sauce.
- A time-share sales office disguised as a McDonald’s annex.
Honestly, it could be any of them.
🤔 How Was This Allowed to Happen?
There’s a fundamental architectural sin happening here... They removed seating space without adding anything that benefits the customers.
No:
✔️ New dining experiences
✔️ Larger Playplace
✔️ Cozy booths
✔️ Community mural or interpretive installation
Instead we got:
🪑 Fewer chairs
🧩 Space that looks important but serves no discernible purpose
It’s like someone hit “minimalism” but forgot to add the function part.
🍔 The Food Experience
As usual:
Fries: Hot, salty, comforting
Burger: Classic
Service: Efficient (thankfully)
But you finish your meal and ask the real question:
Why can a restaurant this small still have a Playplace and less seating than a good food truck?
It’s like a spatial puzzle designed to confuse.
This McDonald’s is not just a fast-food stop.
It’s a modern art installation about space, seating scarcity, and bewilderment.“
“Everyone is so nice and friendly. food is amazing the people there Jacob, Jonhas, Colby and Martina are the best taking there time to do what needs to be done and doing to properly every time I’ve gone I’ve got the freshest food and the drinks are made with the best quality and care thank you all for making all my times going there amazing y’all deserve a raise thank u!!!“
“Ordered a quarter pounder cheese without ketchup as I have a tomato allergy. The manager took my concern seriously when it showed up with ketchup.
She made sure the kitchen knew exactly what happened and how to fix it, speaking to them as a natural leader. Mad respect.
I’ve had a few issues with food here just due to the pure volume the restaurant services, but the great staff always go out of their way to make things right with a smile.“
