Sushi Bars near Fall River

“It was absolutely incredible.
I had the nigiri combo, and every piece was seasoned to perfection. Easily the best sushi I’ve had here in Halifax.

I also ordered some tempura on the side, and it was freshly made
warm, crispy, and so satisfying.
I’m already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend!

“My daughter and I went to Umai today, at Saturday lunch hour. It was quiet as we had the restaurant to ourselves. Our server, Kim was excellent. Kim was polite, knowledgeable about the dishes and made suggestions to customize our dishes.

We eat sushi about 2-3 times per week and have our usual restaurants as well as have eaten Sushi all over Canada and other countries. Umai just became one of our top favourites. The ingredients were all fresh and a wide selection of choices as well as intriguing flavour combinations were the headliners.

Finally, the friendly, attentive staff were contributing factors to make this an outstanding choice for excellent Japanese cuisine. I know we’ll be back. Thank you Umai.“

“Sushi Moto is a hidden gem. We've tried sushi from all over Halifax to Truro and Sushi Moto takes the cake. A lot of places forget that sushi is also about the seafood/fish and not so much on the rice. Sushi Moto sushi rice is very well made and proportionally balanced with fish/seafood for a perfectly balanced bite packed with umami flavors.“

“My family attended for a birthday gathering, and my son who is 4 had the absolute best time! They had children's chopsticks for him to learn with and he loved he. He ate almost an entire bowl of Miso Raman by himself. Toddlers are notoriously picky eaters, but he loves this Ramen!

Our family tried lots of dishes that everyone loved and took extras home.

I like their signature non alcoholic mixed drinks, and they had a nice selection of vegetarian rolls for someone who doesn't eat fish too.

Nice atmosphere. The staff were great.

Excellent location. There's a playground in Dartmouth crossing right outside. Plenty of traffic. They have bathrooms but there are also public bathrooms outside.“
