I recently moved back into the area and was hoping to have brunch here every weekend. I had the Madurito breakfast which was a wonderful treat. The flavours were exotic and well balanced and I left quite satisfied. The breakfast came to $30.00 including tip. After searching online, I found this was almost double the price of any breakfast in Halifax. Wonderful food, but keep in mind you are paying for inflated food costs and for specialty ingredients. I love this place! I always stop in and pick up what I need from their little grocery store. I recently ordered the tamales and let me tell you......they are amazing. I dream about them! Hands down, the best tamales I’ve ever had!
