Stopped in last Saturday afternoon while visiting Halifax from Ontario and honestly had no idea what I was in for. The salmon sashimi was so fresh it practically melted, and the portion size was way more generous than I expected for the price. Our server was patient and genuinely helpful when we asked for recommendations, which made the whole experience feel really welcoming. If you're passing through Halifax, this spot is absolutely worth making time for.
Ordered for a dinner pick up. Ordered some pad Thai, chicken teriyaki, and some sushi's.
The pad Thai was a little spicier than I wanted, but it was still good. The chicken teriyaki tasted simple, but got the job done. The sushi's were tasty and fresh.
The gentleman that assured me at pick up was kind and courteous. The place was quiet, as it was near closing time.

We go to Himachi Kita almost every weekend because the Sushi is amazing and the Thai is as delicious as anywhere. The combination of excellent Sushi and Thai means we can take any friends or family and there's something to please everyone. The service is personal and friendly. It's a Hydrostone favourite
