Absolutely love the burgers. Get them with bacon. This is definitely a place I recommend. Fast service and friendly staff.
It's okay for a pub
Had a meal with my family here and I hadn't been to Midtown in many years. Food was as I remembered, hit the spot. And our waiter may have been the best waiter I've had in Nova Scotia in a long time. My family has had a very difficult week and my daughter was having a rough evening but the waiter, Colin, knew exactly how to talk to her and he was genuinely kind with my boys. Midtown-Boomers Tavern & Lounge offers a lively atmosphere, perfect for a night out. The service is excellent, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, and they have separate servers for drinks and food. The atmosphere is fun, with great music and dancing. Drinks are reasonably priced and of good quality. The food was excellent, classic pub fare. The hot hamburger sandwich with peas and fries, gravy on the side, still has the quality and generous portion size. They could have a couple more craft beer options. It is a 5-star experience, and the steak and fries are a must-do. It's a staple of downtown, especially before Mooseheads games, and is a great spot for a night out, with friendly service and a lively vibe.
