“My friend's and I recently had lunch at La Piazza. The food was absolutely delicious, the service exemplary and the atmosphere is very cozy. “We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!“

If you like a great burger combo that comes in at a valuable price, don’t hesitate to grab the bacon cheeseburger combo and double up on patties……..You won’t be disappointed. The burger and everything on it is fresh and it’s housed in a bun that keeps everything together, they give you more fries than you need, that let’s you know this combo is for real and represents Spryfield. “Had a delicious meal tonight at the Larry Uteck location with my family. Portions were very large and great taste. But what made our night is the incredible server we had who was both witty, charming, funny while also very professional. He made my parents and grandmother all smile and laugh which was really appreciated. It is excellent service and quality staff which make a resteraunt not just the food and clearly Morris East knows this.“

“Easily one of my favorite pizzerias in Halifax, with a long established history as well. The specialty Euro pizzas are excellent, but I still often order the thicker crust traditional offerings. The crust is excellent and not greasy. The owner is fantastic and definitely cares about his customers and his pizzeria's reputation.“

“Great pizza, great people. My 6 year old LOVES pizza, he would eat it for every meal if he could. He likes to rate every new pizza place he tries. It is common to hear ‘Yeah it’s good…. but it’s no Jessy’s’ I’m lucky that their quality pizza comes at an economical price or I’d be broke. Highly recommend.“

“You guys really need to step it up when it comes to consistency. I'm so tired of paying good money for food and being disappointed. You used to be my go to for everything and I keep trying and hoping that things have improved but one week I'll get a large donair and it's a large and tastes good, next week ill order a large donair and get a small burnt one. same thing with donair subs. I just paid $15 for a large donair, it was tiny and the sauce on it taste like milk not at all like donair sauce. Done with spending good money and getting something different every time I won't try again that's for sure.“

“Wow, talk about bang for your buck. I chose this spot out of three choices for my first and short time in Halifax coming from the west coast. I was told I had to try Donair out here so this was the spot I chose to represent that. Amazing stuff. Huge portion, and I ordered a small. It’s nice having the tomato’s and onion diced up. Sauce was plentiful and well balanced. Meat was abundant and crisp. Haven’t had something this good since a decade ago in my city.

Heads up, donairs are served plate style instead of rolled.

They have a small done in area which is a nice touch since some of the other Dominos around does not have that option and have an area you can view pizzas being made. Domino's is typical chain pizza place pizza, but out of the chains prob my fav and they often have some decent deals.“

“Absolutely loved Freeman’s Little New York Restaurant! We were there before Christmas of 2025. The food was incredible from start to finish. The Canadian cheeseburger was juicy and packed with flavor, the toasted Philly cheesesteak subs were hot, loaded, and delicious and CHEEZY!, and the Eggs Benedict was spot-on with a rich, creamy hollandaise.

On top of the great food, the ambience was warm and welcoming. Perfect for families, kids, grandparents, and everyone in between. Comfortable, relaxed, and full of that classic New York–style charm.

“The pizza was absolutely delicious, perhaps the best I’ve had. Crust was perfectly cooked, toppings were generous yet not overpowering. I ordered the 9” personal and probably could have done with just 3 of 4 slices but forced the last one down … was too good to leave.

Service was A++. Alex welcomed us right away, was quick to take our order and took the time to chat for a moment before we left. Such a breath of fresh air in this world where everyone seems to be too busy to even say hello. An asset to the restaurant! We will definitely be grabbing pizza here again next time we visit Halifax.“

“I’ve had Kit Kat pizza in the past so it’s been awhile like years and the food that stuck out for me was the hamburgers as they made them from scratch/ the garlic fingers with so much cheese/ their Hawaiian pizza with so many toppings on it and now 2024- tried them again as I love the owners but it’s just been so long, their Hawaiian pizza like only 2 bucks more than when I remember , is still the same with so many toppings n cheese- my son loved their chicken fingers and fries as they were cooked just right!
