“My friend's and I recently had lunch at La Piazza. The food was absolutely delicious, the service exemplary and the atmosphere is very cozy. The cheesecake is delicious but a tad over priced, as were all the deserts, in my opinion. All in all, a very nice experience and we will definitely be going back for our monthly Ladies Lunch.“

Chicken salad was much better than I expected, a great way to pretend to be healthy, and very tasty. Pickles in salads are underrated. Medium was a good size for me.

A little slower than expected for a fast food place, but they did seem busy.

Recommend: Donair, chicken salad.“

“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!“

“Me and my boyfriend visited here on June 2nd 2025,as we don’t get to get out much and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and it was very quiet when we were there it wasn’t busy at all which was very nice. Our server was amazing she made sure we had everything we needed and was super nice with our suggestions and questions about the food and drinks. I’m not really a person who likes to sit down places and eat but this place was very nice and we will for sure be attending again. I got the breakfast skillet and my boyfriend got the chicken club wrap with poutine. It tastes great 5/5“

“Ok, I know, picking the “best” donair in Halifax is tantamount to declaring war, but Tony’s was fantastic. The sauce, the meat, the value, man, this was an incredible donair. I’d hold it up as the benchmark, which allows for other suggestions, but establishes Tony’S as the one to beat!“

Domino's is typical chain pizza place pizza, but out of the chains prob my fav and they often have some decent deals.“

“Had a delicious meal tonight at the Larry Uteck location with my family. Portions were very large and great taste. But what made our night is the incredible server we had who was both witty, charming, funny while also very professional. He made my parents and grandmother all smile and laugh which was really appreciated. You used to be my go to for everything and I keep trying and hoping that things have improved but one week I'll get a large donair and it's a large and tastes good, next week ill order a large donair and get a small burnt one. same thing with donair subs. I just paid $15 for a large donair, it was tiny and the sauce on it taste like milk not at all like donair sauce. Done with spending good money and getting something different every time I won't try again that's for sure.“

“Was told to order from Downtown pizza downtownn Halifax, told us pizza would be 35-45 min, called us 35 min later to say 1.5 hour delivery, had surgery not ate in 14 hours. They did us a favour called FREEMANS, Excellent pizza, so happy the other place gave us a run around. “I’ve had Kit Kat pizza in the past so it’s been awhile like years and the food that stuck out for me was the hamburgers as they made them from scratch/ the garlic fingers with so much cheese/ their Hawaiian pizza with so many toppings on it and now 2024- tried them again as I love the owners but it’s just been so long, their Hawaiian pizza like only 2 bucks more than when I remember , is still the same with so many toppings n cheese- my son loved their chicken fingers and fries as they were cooked just right!

“My friend and I wanted. A slice of pizza, our first stop was KOD 278 Lacewood Drive, sadly they didn’t have any slices, she asked up what we were looking for and made us fresh slices. They were absolutely delicious! This is the best spot for fresh slices!

The salad had too much dressing for me and not enough for the husband so probably perfect for the typical person. They’re very generous with the bacon bits, which was nice.
