Perfect spot for a coffee and treat after a run or walk on the Chain of Lakes Trail. Loads of parking. Staff are friendly. Prices on par with all cafes not named after hockey players. Smaller footprint, so can be busy at certain times of day but the wait is not long.
5K Cafe and 3 Mile Outfitters are absolute gems. The 5K’s cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect spot for a cup of coffee and a delicious sandwich after a long walk, run, or bike on the trail. This is an absolute gem of a place. Some of the best sandwiches I have had in the city. Finishing a long run/bike ride here would be an epic way to finish.I was blown away this morning at how wonderful the service was, the outstanding food, and all the local items for sale.
