“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. The food was delicious and plated appetizingly, too!“

“Mixed feelings about this spot! 🍜 While the manager was super attentive to my celiac needs, ensuring a safe, gluten-free meal, the overall service fell a bit short. Waited a while for my ramen setup after my food was brought out. Delicious food though, and no celiac reaction to the food, I'd feel safe eating here again.“

“Easily one of my favorite pizzerias in Halifax, with a long established history as well. The specialty Euro pizzas are excellent, but I still often order the thicker crust traditional offerings. The crust is excellent and not greasy. The owner is fantastic and definitely cares about his customers and his pizzeria's reputation.“

“If I ever move to another neighborhood, I’d still come back to Halifax just for this place.
Seriously the best Thai food. I’ve tried most of the menu and haven’t found a single bad dish yet.
My go-tos are always the squid ring fries and pad thai but the fried rice is so good too.
The Thai chilli fish is also a must. The sauce is next level.
Honestly, everything here is good. You have to try it. Sometimes they are too busy to serve foods fast enough but worth it“

“Stopped by Canton Garden on a Tuesday evening after work with a couple friends and honestly it might become our new go-to spot. The wonton soup was exactly what I needed, rich broth and perfectly delicate wrappers, way better than I expected from a weeknight out. Our server was super attentive without being hovery, kept everything moving at a good pace so we weren't rushing but never felt forgotten either. Definitely going to drag the whole crew here on a weekend soon because I feel like we only scratched the surface of the menu.“

“Been here several times. Soup comes cold. Burger is raw and gross, fish tasted like dirty cooking oil. Had to go to the bar to get beers after my glass sat empty for 10 min and server walked past several times. Let’s try A 3rd time. Well fish was very bland no flavour some parts undercooked. Watched others have to go to the bar to get their drink, because the server ignored them, or just wasn’t paying attention c“

“Our preferred Swiss Chalet over the one on Young Street. Staff are always nice and a decent atmosphere. Nice menu selection and GREAT French fries. A solid choice if you're in the mood for chicken, although the menu is diverse enough for anyone else. Their chalet chicken sauce is a unique flavour, and quite good. Consensus from folks I know, is that their new beef selections aren't necessarily worth the price.“

“i’ve ordered from here on delivery services many times before, but received a gift card from work a while back and figured i’d dine in for a change. if you have ever ordered from here online, PLEASE visit in person! the food was amazing, so much better than ordering online. the restaurant was very clean, beautifully decorated and the waiter was lovely.“
