“We had excellent service on Canada Day 2024 with our friendly waitress Pal. She was very helpful and kept checking on our party of 12 ages from 3 to 80, to make sure everyone had what they wanted. She put treats on the Robot and had the children go get their treats off the tray on it, which was a highlight for them. We could tell she enjoys waitressing because she does it to perfection. “My wife and I have gone to Canton Gardens for almost 30 years. The food is excellent and they use quality ingredients in all their dishes. Their stir fried dishes are made only with fresh vegetables such as broccoli, zucchini, carrots, snow peas, and onions. None of the vegetables are frozen. My wife and I both love their kung po chicken, chicken with black bean sauce, and curry chicken. They also make delicious spring rolls. The restaurant is highly recommended.“

“Easily one of my favorite pizzerias in Halifax, with a long established history as well. The specialty Euro pizzas are excellent, but I still often order the thicker crust traditional offerings. The crust is excellent and not greasy. The owner is fantastic and definitely cares about his customers and his pizzeria's reputation.“

Seriously the best Thai food. I’ve tried most of the menu and haven’t found a single bad dish yet.
My go-tos are always the squid ring fries and pad thai but the fried rice is so good too.
The Thai chilli fish is also a must. The sauce is next level.
Honestly, everything here is good. You have to try it. Sometimes they are too busy to serve foods fast enough but worth it“

Had to go to the bar to get beers after my glass sat empty for 10 min and server walked past several times. Let’s try A 3rd time. Well fish was very bland no flavour some parts undercooked. Watched others have to go to the bar to get their drink, because the server ignored them, or just wasn’t paying attention c“

We live on the peninsula but will drive to Bayers Lake for Dhaba or order through delivery services. We have tried other Indian restaurants such as Curry Village and Mirchi Tandoor but the flavours do not compare.“
