“Got a few things I haven't tried in a while. Steak tartare is more or less like many places, mild flavour, doesn't stand out. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Has a sweet fruity butter sauce. But sweet for me, but I think most people will like it. Duck confit risotto was the best one for me. Fall off the bone duck mixes into perfectly cooked risotto with a strong red wine flavor. Plus good portion size. Bonus that they serve non-alcoholic beer!“
“I don't go often to East Side Mario's, but am generally sure it will be a decent meal. This evening's meal was REALLY excellent (try the chicken Milano!) - salad and bread both incredibly fresh. Recommended just for that ..But our server Pao deserves a HUGE shout-out. I don't know when I've had better, more attentive, genuinely cheerful service. “My friend came in from Edmonton and I took her to Trattoria Vesso to eat after being so impressed with the restaurant during my first visit. The city was closed down due to the weather so the server and staff were able to give us a little extra attention to go along with amazing food. I will gladly be going back and taking more friends with me.“

The atmosphere was fantastic and the service was incredible.The waitress we had was very attentive and friendly. My sister was with us and she has a few allergies and I think that this was the most well informed experience I’ve ever seen her have. As the shared dishes came out, they made sure to tell her what possible allergens were in them and they really knew the menu and ingredients, it put our minds at ease.The food was wonderful as well as the cocktails. “Went for a dinner with a friend at 7.30 on a Friday. It was moderately crowded. Became almost full within an hour. It is a very decent place in terms quality and size of portions. I ordered the chicken valley, and I surely recommend it as a full nutritious and delicious dinner dish. The waiters were responsive and very helpful and pleasant. The vibe was beautifully vibrant and the creme brulee is definitely a must. Highly recommended!“

The view from the patio of Lake Thomas is to die for, truly spectacular, all within a fifteen minutes of Fall River, Waverley and Wellington. “Basically got denied service because I have kids. Went with my young kids to eat early 5pm and was told we couldn't eat there. Staff said they were fully booked, but the place was empty. I had looked online earlier in the day and the earliest booking was at 6pm, so figured they wouldn't be too busy at 5pm if we just walked in. We wouldn't have stayed long anyway (maybe an hour), but they still would not accomodate us. I didn't argue with them or make a fuss, but staff were pretty condescending and didn't make me feel great about being there. Unfortunate, because I will likely take my business elsewhere in the future.Update: Decided to go back since the response to my initial review. Have been happy with the service the last couple times. The food is always good.“
